The trucks exhaust was so loud that my ears are still ringing 3 days after I finished driving. The seats are not as comfortable as other rental trucks. Very very upset for the amount of money spent.

Allowing me to reserve and pay for a 26' truck only to have someone call me and tell me that 15' was the largest available was annoying. It was a waste of time.

The location and the people who helped me were fine. However the truck was not ready. The key, the blankets and the dolly were nowhere to be found. Your app for truck share was a disaster. I spent over an hour trying to make it work as well as your phone customer service. It came down to your customers service rep saying guess we'll just have to try another day and I will give you a discount! Not acceptable. It was only because a random employee of the store showed up and was able to help me and I was able to take care of the move. I will not use this service again If your app is the only alternative. You forget that not all locations have fast enough phone service to handle this. Also I had to changes setting on my phone to make it work. And don't forget there are many people who don't use smart phones or don't know enough about them to be able to use it. I have used uhaul for many moves in the past. This was my first bad experience. However it may be my last.

Rented 10' online for this location, was told later there was 10' but I got upgraded to 15'. The location given for this was not the original reservation location. Later called asking if I can rent at 8 instead of 9; no problem. Go to 2nd location at 8am and I'm told they don't have anything for me there but I was upgraded to 17' at original location. Got the truck and everything went fine, would just like a little less run around next time.

One of the rails on the car trailer came out on our return trip. Upon inspection, the rail that came out had been replaced and re-welded prior to our rental. There was not a safety clip or anything to help it stay in place. This is not the fault of the place that rented it, but a design and safety issue.There was a front strap that went around the front tires, but nothing for the rear of the car. We borrowed a strap from a neighbor to make sure the car would not move when being transported.

The financial transaction did not go quickly. The Visa transaction did not go through on the computer in a timely manner, so the clerk called in to the main office and had the visa transaction done over the phone. That was odd that the UHaul computer would not allow the visa transaction to go through.

The process to rent was extremely over the top! There are less regulations involved in renting a car from Enterprise/Avis rental agency than renting a pickup truck from Uhaul! It was ridiculous! The tow forms of ID I do understand, but you SHOULD NOT require a hold on a military ID...that enters into a lot of legal issues with the security behind military ID cards. The regulations and restrictions, were just too over the top.

Make sure you do a walk around and check the gas and mileage carefully before driving off. I was just handed the key. I had to do the walk around myself and found several scratches on the truck. I had to go get the gentle man who gave me the key so that he would put stickers on them and in order to eliminate the possible arguments when I return the truck. I also did check the mileage but since I was rushing I forgot to check the gas. It was an eighth of the tank off when I remember to look at when I was two blocks away (at the corner of Downs and Upjohn when I saw the gas station). I could have turned around and argued about the gas. I am not sure how they would have responded but I was late for the move and decided not to turn around and spend time on waiting in the line again. So I ended up filling for the gas that I didn't use. It's a large truck so, one eight of a tank is quite some gas. The fact that I was responsible for all the check outs and not even being accurate on their part bothers me. My advice to you is do the walk around, check the gas and mileage. Also, call your insurance and ask whether such rental is covered. Don't spend (waste?) your money buying their insurance if your insurance covers it already. Good luck and happy moving.

I would not recommend doing the "express checkout" online because NONE of my information was saved, so I had to have it all re-entered by the cashier at the High Desert Home Center when I got there that morning to pick up my rental. The cashier told me that I had not entered the correct information because apparently the person who books the uhaul must also be listed as the primary driver. This was not made clear when I completed the online forms.

It took over & hour to get trailer rental completed they said that the uhaul system @ their location had been down off & On for two days. We had dogs In the truck was very hot had to start truck to keep it cool. We were not very happy.

Very good at checking in my truck and auto transport. Had an issue with some charges which they helped sort out. Very courteous.

The person who signed in the truck and the vehicle hauler seemed to be new on the job and was hardly helpful. He didn't even bother to help guide me in backing my vehicle down off the vehicle carrier. The cashier lady inside the store (True Value) couldn't get the computer to cooperate in providing my receipt, had to get assistance from one of the employees from the shop and felt it necessary to answer the phone when she was supposed to be paying attention to my out-processing. Overall, a very unprofessional operation!
