Make sure they get information right . I had a guaranteed reservation and when I went to pick it up they said we could not have it . I had to drive 50 miles out to pick it up . When I called about this the information I was told that Patricia rented it and returned it the same day . That could not be correct because we were taking it out of state. I was very upset about this reservation.

WE rent with you company very often ( FEDEX) , local store not able to accommodate for one more extra day, to the point to advise that if we do not return on time vehicle was going to be report it as stolen, affecting driver.


Spencer and the other gentleman that helped with my lighting on the truck and trailer were excellent. Great job. Possibly helped me in other electrical issues with the truck. The only issues I had were trying to use my location to return the trailer, did not work. Then spent an hour on the phone waiting to teach someone to day it was returned after hours. I finally got a call back after giving up. The lady I spoke with was a big help though

Truck was not clean. Very muddy in back, popcorn and debris littered. Windshield was horribly fithy! Had to clean and wash it myslef. Service @ counter was above average.


The U-Haul web site over charged the rental by a large amount. The web site added 4 days of insurance on a two day rental - we denied the insurance at the time of rental. On check in we were not able to use the after hours check in because the web site would not accept the location identification on our cell phones. After 20 plus minutes on hold an agent said they would waive the late check in $20, but it still appeared on the final charges. All in all U Haul web site wanted to charge us over $200 for an under $100 two day truck rental. Lesson learned! Thanks for the correction that was made at the rental location.

I think the company should probably have the trucks looked at once a month. The truck had couple of problems. It wasn't cleaned and I wasn't advised about it until I got back. I have cancer and during COVID-19 the truck should be clean for people like me. It wasn't so I had to ask them for wipes to clean the vehicle. The back of the truck was filthy. When I brought the truck in to be dropped off. The company told me that I had to clean the truck I was not advised about that so I had to take it all the way back to my house and wash it out and then refuel the fuel that I lost to get it to you guys again. The temperature gauge did not work it was all over the place it scared me a couple times luckily I know about vehicles. One of the tires was cut pretty big and it seem like nobody noticed so I had to let the dealer know. Also the company I got the vehicle from did not notify me about the dolly. I had my own dollies but the plastic thing was cut already on the dolly so I'm hoping with my pushing that I'm not gonna get charge so I have to call again and figure it out. That should be one of the things they tell us because I've never rented a U-Haul before.

Could of returned the truck 1day earlier (on a Sunday) but we didn't know where to park it because the gates were closed.

The truck ran terrible. The High desert Home Center called the police because I was late bring the truck back. I will never use them again. I am a property manager so I rent u-hauls more than 20 times a year. I have never experienced such a non business like treatment.


I attempted to obtain a u haul trailer in Lancaster Ca at 2 locations. I wanted a one way trailer and was informed at both locations that I had to return trailer. I contacted the Mojave Ca location and went onto a reservation list. I then went to the Rosamond Ca location on Sierra Highway. Bridget was as helpful as she could be. After attempting to obtain a trailer for 3 weeks I contacted corporate. I was informed that I would be notified if a trailer could be accomodated to me. I eventually got a confirmation 0n 7/16/20 that a trailer would be ready for me in Ridgecrest Ca. This location is 75 miles north of my residence. I am wondering why u haul did not bring this trailer to the location in Rosamond? In my experience with u haul I find it easy to say that I am quite displeased with my u haul corporate experience. The local people I dealt with were handcuffed by u haul corporate. U haul needs to understand that alot of people are leaving California and going just one way with said vehicles, and therefore u haul needs to be more acommodating to these customers! Just saying.....

This location was very accommodating. Helping me avoid contact with people since I had been on a 14 day self quarantine to go see my baby granddaughter. I was able to make reservations and complete the contract via phone and email. Also went out of their way to hook up the trailer for me! Excellent customer service!! Thank you!

Employees need better training from u-haul. Did not have an auto transport as I reserved so they did nothing to give me a replacement. Bad service.
