The chat forum I used. I asked if the destination could be changed she said no. I said not true with the traffic dept. so she lied to me than made up an excuse because I was informed. I asked to have the destination changed 3 times before it was done. Uhaul will never do anything to change it dredged our sounding employees i my opinion.... goch ya.

When we returned the truck, the clerk at the final destination explained that we should have done a walk through with this dealership in order to assess if there were any damages in the truck when we began. This was not done.



Given the circumstance of the truck incident, I personally did not return the truck to this location. I will say that Road Side Assistance team went above the call of duty to help me get to my final destination.

The drop off location is in a bad section of town. It was after dark when we returned the truck and the area you had to drive through was very sketchy. Lots of people hanging out in the streets and poorly lit. No close gas stations to the drop lot so we had to drive further into the bad neighborhood. Advise customers to drop off before dark.

The first truck had a check engine light on and I turned around and came back. The second had a tire pressure light that they informed me about and said they had serviced, but the light never went out. I guess that it was a bad sensor. I ordered 10 furniture pads for the move online. When I went to pick them up I was told them up they didnt have any. I said "Uhaul needs to get its shit together online, if you sell me something you should have it". The person behind the desk threw my license onto the table and said "I'm not going to rent this truck to you if you're going to cuss at me! You just rented this last night anyway." I just sat there to see what he was going to do. He finally started the paperwork again. I didn't say much of anything else to your employee as not to offend. The maintenance of the vehicles speak for themselves. This is the second and last time I'll use this location, with the first being a bad experience also.

We selected a pickup location specifically close to the moving location days in advance only to be instructed the day before that our pickup location would be 30 minutes away!!! instead of less than 10... this added to the truck mileage and ate up valuable time. We also learned the location did not have the 5 dozen moving pads we ordered days before and we had to go to yet another location to get the pads we very much needed again eating up time and adding to our frustration. The truck ran a bit rough and one of the backup lights on the rear of truck was not working and windshield wipers were worn. When preparing to return the truck we were instructed by text and online to return the truck to a specific location and after we did and took the extra step of calling Uhaul's customer service line to confirm with them that we had just dropped the equipment at the requested dropoff location (per a text from Uhaul) we were told that we dropped the equipment at the wrong location even though we didn't??? We also learned our original pickup location had two of the trucks we had requested just sitting on their lot and even they were perplexed as to why we were directed to a further away pickup location. The experience did not seem to be focused on our needs and our convenience and did not make much sense causing this level of frustration for what is already stressful enough. Hoping uhual can make this right.

I had a terrible experience at this location. The office was dirty and messy, and the clerk was slow and did not seem to fully know how to work the computer. I checked in and paid online in advance but still had to wait at the counter for at least 30 minutes. Finally, I had to suggest the clerk call someone for help. The individual that came into help checked me out quickly. Some of the clientele that came into the building were sketchy. The individual in line ahead of me tried to pay for his cargo van with some kind of card not tied to a bank and was denied. Another customer came in after me and was nearly yelling at the clerk. I had my young daughter with me and felt unsafe. I couldn't wait to leave. The truck we rented was clean, but once on the road, I realized it smelled like urine. I will never use this location again, and will hesitate to use UHaul in general as a result of my experience there.

Allow me to drop off in the town where I moved, an actual one-way move! It was incredibly frustrating to drive 40 minutes out of my way to drop this truck off, then drive another 40 minutes back to my new home! This is unacceptable!

They were great. They let us upgrade to a larger truck than the one I ordered, no problem. Easy pickup and drop off. I used the moving helpers website that U-Haul provides; I would recommend it to anyone needing help. The whole experience was great and pretty much stress free.

The gentleman who received our truck at drop off indicated we did not have enough gas in the tank to match what we had received. Based on my judgement, this was entirely untrue. We were forced to go get additional gas in the truck to make an essentially full tank which it was not when we received. Of course, the charge would have been about $4/gallon if we had not. I was not overly happy with this.

Lower mileage rates. If you are going to make your business by advertising for lowest rates around, then charge $26 for 20 miles, that's a bit high, even for a Friday. I only had the truck for 3 hours, so there was plenty of opportunity to rent the truck out again for the weekend.

You only had one person on a Sunday for this very busy location. Each customer had to wait quite a while during the hour I was there. I did not turn in my equipment that day, and had to wait two more days for a larger storage unit. We were all pretty frustrated.

Had reserved a 15 ft truck for 18 hours. When I picked it up was told it had to be back by 8am thr nect day. Picked it up at 2:30. Had planned for one 30 mile trip. All they had to offer me was a cargo van. Ended up making 4 trips at 118 miles. Feel I got taken. Don't know if I'll ever use Uhaul again.

The lady on this end realized I was charged milage for U-haul's mistake. She contacted her boss who agreed to reimburse me tomorrow, July 10, 2017, for the overage in mileage.



I have used U-Haul at least twice before and it was easy and pleasant. I will never use U-Haul again. Within 24 hours of my reservation I still had not been assigned a truck so I had to call U-Haul to find out why. After finally getting an assignment, I had to drive an hour to a u-haul facility to pick up the truck. Upon arriving I was told that my truck was not there and that the previous customer had dropped it off at the wrong location. The store told me that they would transfer my reservation to another store. I then drove across town to the u-haul location and was then told they did not have my truck either. After waiting another 10 minutes another agent said that my reservation had not been transferred yet and that also my reservation had been double booked. They eventually gave me my truck and told me that the truck was completely full of gas. When I got to the truck the passenger side door was dented/damaged from a previous wreck and the gas tank was actually on 3/4 full. Very displeased with this experience from the start and I will not be using u-haul again. Prior to picking up the u-haul I logged into my reservation and noticed the price had went up by $200. I called u-haul and they corrected the price but I wouldn't have noticed if I hadn't logged in.
