Both times we rented the truck, the windows were very Dirty.We didnt bring any Cleaning supplies., to clean it.only had some bottled water and a Napkin in my purse..but Rest of it was good..The Trojan Storage place is always Very Clean.Thank you for asking..

Gas was less than stated on contract. I went on 65 miles but had to put 12 gal of gas in . Know way does it take 12 gallons of gas to go 65 miles.

Price charged was significantly higher than the confirmed quote/reservation on the uHaul website. Took multiple emails and reminders to get the over-charge back. This doesn't seem to be the issue of this location, but rather uHaul corporate.

Vehicle cleanliness was excellent however there were two significant maintenance issues. The dome lightbulb in the cargo area was burned out! This is a critical part of being able to load/unload after dark, very disappointing. Also, the wiper blades needed replacement. Again, critical while traveling through snow/rain the entire second day.

The truck did the job, but was dirty and I had difficulty seeing out of the windshield. The truck also jerked a lot when driven. I drove about 14 miles and the gas tank was still on FULL, but I wanted to top it off. When I went to top it off, I hit the $15.00 mark and the gas had not shut off. I feel that I was ripped off because there is no way that I used that much gas, so was the truck's gauge broken? I left the whole experience very frustrated and upset.

Now after the horrible experience I had picking up the uhaul from 3 different locations we come to returning the Uhaul. When I picked up the Uhaul I was told I could return the uhaul to any location in the area I'm moving but they would set this location as the "Preferred" because it needed one. So I say ok and head on my way. On a saturday, a day before I was told and it was written on my receipt that I needed to return the truck, I head to the drop off point in the middle of no where 15-20minutes away from my house an hour before it says they close on google maps. I arrive at the drop of location a minute or 2 before 6pm and the 2 employees inside see me pull up, and proceed to walk out and lock the door. I talk with them and explain I'm returning the truck because I work tommorow and online it says they still are open for another hour. There response is " that is wrong, it needs to be fixed, bring it back tommorow. " and proceed to walk straight to there cars. I'm shocked by there lack of even faking concern. So being told this drop off location was just a suggestion(much like apparently making a reservation with Uhaul is) I proceed another 20 minutes away to another location that is open. After arriving and talking with a much more polite worker, he informs me it would be another $200 to drop it off at this location instead of the location they set me at. So now frustrated I ask him what I should do and he reminds me what I was told when I originally talked with uhaul that we could drop it off using our phone and dropping the keys in a drop box that all locations have. So now I head back to the original drop off location.(needing to stop for gas now again because this driving is causing me to spend even more on gas needlessly like when I picked up the truck). I arrive back at the location I was scheduled to drop off at and is closed. Use my phone to drop off the truck and then low and behold, no key box! Spend 45 minutes on hold with Uhaul trying to figure out what to do, every other location is closed and finally give up and leave it there and plan to bring the keys back first thing in the morning. Unfortunately I had to work so my father takes the keys back right when they open and they tell us now, even though the receipt says I still have time before the truck is due, they say they want to charge me for the additional day. I NEVER complain because I understand life happens but this was beyond ridiculous and costly both monetarily and my time. I will never use Uhaul again! I was not even treated well by half the people I dealt with much less the service.

I recieved a call after dropping off the truck. The lady on the phone was extremelt rude, unhelpful, & uneducated about her own job asking me what we should do in this situation. The situation was she could not find the truck i dropped off, even went foward and said out right that she was not going to walk the lot to look for it and that we needed to come down 55minutes from my house go find her the truck in the lot that she was working at. Unacceptable behavoir.

I arrived at the facility at about 2:10pm (10 min past my reservation time). I completed my online check out at 2:21pm and attempted to get the key to the open vehicle. The sign on the door said out until 3pm. After I had dropped my child off at home, I returned to the location and found it was still closed. However, a storage center employee did unlock the door and gave me the key. She stated that they don't do online rentals and shouldn't have shown up in the result when I pressed her on why no one was here. I inquired about the hour I had by then lost and she shrugged and said there was nothing she could do. I called C/S and the gentleman I spoke with extended the rental for an hour. He also stated that nothing would be done in relation to the rental center as they were an independent 3rd party. Later that evening, I received a phone call from UHaul stating that the location from which I rented could not accept the return and I should proceed to a different location. When pressed about the hassle and the additional mileage, the agent stated she would provide a $25 card which did not happen. I have since spoken with William at C/S who has escalated the issue to Susan Martin. I have asked for the mileage to be waived and the $25 card be applied to this rental. My intention is to provide a negative review of Trojan Storage for their customer service in this regard. Rocklin is a small town and there are lots of choices for rentals and storage. Their attitude is not a winning one with me. She may have stated facts, however that was not MY issue. I will wait up to the 3 days William said it may take to resolve the issue before escalating further. However, I expect this to be handled expeditiously. I expect the mileage fees be waived (incl tax) and the $25 VIP be applied to this rental.
