Leslie NWe couldn’t get customer service on the phone when we had issues with the app. As we waited for the 2 person verification process, which we were not aware of, a sheriff pulled over a car in the uhaul lot and another pulled and blocked our uhaul. There was also a police helicopter circling. The officer moved so we could finally back out when we got access to the keys.
Sarah BThe staff at the front counter was friendly, helpful, and courteous. The truck cab was dirty - crumbs and food debris in cup holders and on floor. It was not distgusting but it was not clean . The day I went to return the truck, the shop was closed due to illness, which is understandable as stuff happens. What was annoying is that the 1-800-go uhaul number directs you to another number and that directs you to use the App or create an account to log into in order to return the vehicle. Here is the deal: I DO NOT WANT AN APP. I DO NOT WANT TO CREATE AN ACCOUNT. I want to do business with a real person not and AI chatbot. There needs to be a law that consumers have the right and easy access to a living human being. Just because I am computer literate and have a smart phone doesn't mean I want an APP and username/password for everything I do. Lots of other people feel the same way. Thank you
