What a fiasco!!!! I did everything on line per the emails I received after ordering a vehicle, a dolly, a couch cover and a dozen protective moving blankets. I did the electronic check in per an email sent, where I sent pics of my drivers license, etc. I should have been able to go to the location, pick up the key to the vehicle with the supplies I ordered and be on my way! But nooooo. . . . .I had to wait and basically do the check in procedure all over again! Once I was given the key and did a walk around to be sure the vehicle had no prior damage, I asked about my supplies I had ordered. I was told I had to go to yet another location to pick them up! I told the U-haul rep that I was not going to be doing that since we had a timed reservation for the move out bay at the complex we were leaving. Needless to say, w/o the dolly, we were required to make more trips back and forth to load the truck! I returned the vehicle fully fueled and several hours earlier than anticipated. I returned the key to the attendant and was told I had to go back to the truck and take a picture of the mileage as well as the fuel gauge to prove it was full. Silly me, but I thought that would have been THEIR job! That was not a requirement with my previous U-Haul rental experiences. When asked for the receipt, I was told it would be emailed to me. I reminded him I was not given the supplies. Well the receipt was definitely emailed, and guess what? I was billed for the dolly, the couch cover and the 12 protective moving blankets!!! I went back in to challenge the billing and was told I would have to call to get it corrected! I have had many dealing, either direct or non-direct with U-Haul over the years. I have never been unimpressed or disappointed with the quality of their product or their service until this particular incident. All I can say is, if you ever need U-Haul services in the future, bypass this one! It is not representative of what you expect, and typically get from U-Haul.

The rental was easy and quick. Store employee was very polite and efficient. I was in and out in a matter of moments. Upon my return, the truck was checked to make sure everything was appropriate. I would recommend this to my friends. Particularly this location.

Oshan MOne tire was low on air, the windshield wiper fluid was out, and there was a notification that the side loader door was ajar and it would not go away. I rented a van and it doesn't even have a door there.
CHARLES MI was not informed there wouldn’t be anyone at the gas station to take my key upon return at midnight. I was charged an extra day. I also made a reservation without insurance and I see two days charged of safemove insurance. I am not happy with the person that checked me in and charged me for things I didn’t agree to on my reservation.
