Time is a luxury that few can afford. If your staff could spend more time educating a renter on how to operate the features of the cab [headlights, wipers, parking brake release, etc.] that would be great. This rental experience was overall very positive. Nicholas assisted on the check-out and did a good job of explaining the contract terms. Vito immediately processed the return as soon as I parked. My final charges were reviewed and a receipt was emailed. Did not have to go inside store and wait at the counter. I would rent from U-Haul and here again.

Review the cargo door lock. I found out when turning in truck that the lock must be pulled on when using key to unlock. To lock, must press hard. The lock should be lubricated to work without having to apply pressure to unlock and lock.

Self check out still requires one to go inside and wait in line to see a representative for the keys, which defeats the purpose of doing a self check out.

The agent that took my reservation was extremely rude, condescending, and dismissive. He was too cool to have a woman bother him, and told me to get away while he helped the man behind me. Since I wouldn't accept that behavior, he finally explained the charges in a logical manner, and then I was on my way. The truck was clean, however, the air vent covers were falling off and the driver's side visor clip kept shaking loose and the visor would fall down and block the view of the road. The entrance into the facility is right at the corner and extremely dangerous to navigate.

Training for employees to service customers using online check in. Drop off was complicated, due to terrible location and blockage of Uhaul driveways. Online pick up process was also very lengthy and inconvenient.

The gentlemen at the location did not lock the trailer to the ball... I drove 125 miles to the location I was planning on picking up the car, as we rolled the car onto the trailer the trailer detached from the ball and damaged my truck bed lid. Unacceptable. I have 2 witnesses. We had to attach the trailer to my truck and twist the knob clockwise so the device latches onto the ball. Wtf .. My name is victor and this is a true story .

I was transferred twice in 1 hour to two different locations because the van i reserved 1 week in advance was not available at two locations. Very frustrating. I was given a $50 credit for my inconvenience but I was still upset because I had to drive way out of my city to pick up a van that I had reserved 1 week in advance.

Get more help at the peak periods of service hours and when you are promised a pickup time of 9:00am and you don't get serviced until 9:45 adjust the 4 hour window to reflex the wait time, my service representative Mike told me that I had to have the truck back at 1:00pm after a lively discussion on the time difference they agreed to adjust time until 2:00pm

A couple of pieces below the steering column fell off (plastic covering and solid foam), exposing some sharp metal underneath. As I wasn't able to reattach the pieces, I was concerned about getting cut while driving. Fortunately nothing happened, but it's a problem that could have been prevented with more thorough maintenance.
