The first location I went to on Colorado Blvd the gentlemen was very nice and professional but unfortunately they didn’t have any trucks the size and time we needed so he just helped us reserve one for the Rosemead location, when we got there it took about 15 minutes to get assistance and once we did the gentlemen was nice but another gentlemen was very rude and anti professional he has a dark complexion and a full beard very rude! Everything else went fine the truck was clean very nice no issues. Once we turned in the truck they already charged us for the estimated miles and we would pay the difference if we ended up using more which we did, so I suggested I pay the difference in cash because I didn’t have the whole amount in my debit card so I did and when I was heading home I realized they charged me $7.00 extra for something I did not use and wasn’t even in the truck and I called them and supposedly I was going to be paid back for it which never happened and it’s been over a week and now in the morning I notice them charging me for the full amount and now I owe the bank money! So apparently they are over charging me money and now I owe the bank money and they are processing payments in my card without my authorization and now I have to go back to this location and try to get some money back and get an explanation and waste my time. I do not live nearby anymore.

personable people here, i was greeted very well at the rosemead store when i went to drop off the truck. i felt more welcome there than at the ahaheim location. i can only assume its managed well

We called the help line to file a formal complaint on the service manager at the drop off location in Rosemead; He refused to help us although we were there just 2 minutes after closing and had called prior to coming to let them know that we were running a little late..

I don't like driving far just to get something I can get 2 blocks away from my house. You should find a better way to have the equipment where we make the reservation. Customers service in both locations were excellent. Thank you.

The truck I rented on Sunday 07/08 had no padlock, hand truck, or padding in the rear. I had to zip tie the back closed to secure it overnight. Please make sure at least the padlock is always present for customers before renting the truck out.

I like the concept of being able to get my truck by using the app but it defeats the purpose if I still have to wait for the attendant to give me my key and still go through the process of signing and then doing a second walk-trough. This is compounded by the attendant being busy with another customer which meant I had to wait another 10 minutes for the attendant to finish that transaction. Some fine tuning needs to be done.

Here’s where my first experience went downhill. I talked to someone on the phone who told me to drop it off at this location with no problem. But this location had a dark skin hispanic who charged me $381. I told him no way and another lighter skin hispanic gentleman told me if I want to drop it off there I have to pay or go somewhere else. I told them that I talked to someone on the phone who told me to bring it here and that there was no mention of this ridiculous amount. They told me I can go somewhere else, because that’s their fee. I told them I need to make a phone call. I called and asked to speak to the supervisor or manager of everything and a gentleman told me he had to send a email to them and wait for a call back to speak to someone. So I told him my situation and he told me to go back to the pick up location and download the u-hual app and follow the instructions for drop off. I drove back to the pick up location but the gate was closed and called back. I was told the app doesn’t work for that pick up site, I was then transferred to the reservation manager who blessed my horrible day. Told me that I shouldn’t be charged and offered to call the site and talk with them. She told me they should’ve checked the notes. When I drove it back there the 2 who gave me attitude and tried to overcharge me were avoiding me. But the last gentleman also a lighter skin hispanic who helped me was very polite and nice. I was charged $81.98 i’m the end. I don’t think they should charge so much for a drop off, especially if it’s local. If it was from another state or far away I would understand but not local. Both employees should take notes from the last gentleman who helped me.

The truck I rented days prior wasn’t even at the lot when I got there for my pick up time.. they ended up giving me another truck but when they went to get it an employee locked the truck the wrong way so I was basically waiting for them to break the lock.. an hour passed from my pick up time and I suggested they give me another truck that was ready for me to take and the employe said “oh that’s not a bad idea” I waisted an hour of my moving time just waiting around.. horrible service.

They called me the same morning after I dropped off the truck to ask me if I wanted another day...im like, I DROPPED IT OFF THUS MORNING !. seems they didnt get the memo...now I'm charged twice ??
