We tri d to call ahead and we're on hold for about 20 minutes. When we got there, there were three employees hanging out outside, but no customers. The employees weren't helping anyone or maintaining or checking vehicles, they were just chatting. When we mentioned our phone me call we were told that they had forwarded calls to the call center, but did not explain why or apologize for our wait. The parking lot is a bit annoying, tight with one driveway for entering and one for exit, but they're not labeled with signs. We entered at the exit driveway, but didn't see until we were in the lot and there was no way to turn around without backing up onto a busy street. Our contactless pick up didn't work (the app wouldn't register my location, even though that feature was turned on), the employee who helped us knew we were in a hurry, but he did not rush or seem at all concerned with our plans or problem checking in. Since it took twice as long to grab the truck, we had to head home. We live 4 miles from there and on that drive the check engine light turned on. We called and were told by the call center that they'd rather we have it seen by road side assistance than just trade it in. We waited over three hours for a technician (not the fault of this location), only to find that the vehicle hadn't been properly inspected before our rental, fluids were at about half of what they need to be to run smoothly, which meant that they hadn't been properly checked in a while. Huge inconvenience as we couldn't finish sh bed time with our son or get ready for bed ourselves to wait for the technician. This should not have happened. When I mentioned it on return, they guy just said ,"yeah, I see that on your notes." Then he took the keys. No apology, explanation, or offer for any discount for our time wasted. I will rent from U-Haul again, but never from this location.

Nothing very professional and great customer service

My initial reservation was cancelled and when the rep who called me said I agreed to round trip return. I didn't even see this on the online reservation which was very upsetting. If I knew I agreed to this I would have made sure not to choose round trip I would have chosen one way. Also I agreed to the insurance and to a refrigerator dolly which was not in the truck, but rep I was talking to assured me the truck came with a dolly. I had movers waiting for me to move my appliances but had to do so very carefully with a small dolly that was in the UHaul truck. Your staff was trying to be accomodating but was not able to which was very unfortunate for me and a waste of time. I don't plan on needing a truck to move anything soon but if I do I will have to go with another rental place.

The online checkin process was not complete, they asked for additional information that was sensitive to share out load to strangers. Also the charge for 2 days for having 10 hrs of rental was ridiculous it wasn't even half an actual day, it wasn't like the another rental was lost, it was a late night return. Overall it was poor service, will consider alternatives in the future. Representatives were helpful as much as they were allowed supposedly.

I booked for 24 hours online and only got 12 hours of rental. I got a call reminding me to return the car after 12 hours. I called the number (626)2864933 trying to explain the situation and hoped that I can get 24 hours, but the customer service was really rude and said I already signed the contract, which really pisses me off. After finishing moving, I returned the car and found the person who checked me in. He solved the problems for me. However, the phone service was a nightmare for me.


Make the charge for milage cheaper.

Hidden fees. Incorrect quotes. 2nd time this has happened. I will gladly take my business elsewhere and always steer people away from uhaul. I will point them to any other service available, as uhaul customer service representatives incorrectly break down charges and you are hit with a bill $100 more than quoted, even if you drive fewer miles than estimated. Never doing business here again.

Instead of taking pictures of myself and DL on site, why not do this before hand. Reference phone numbers should be on file when first renting and the reference phone calls could have been made in advance. The staff on site seemed preoccupied and were in no hurry to assist.

i rent so many times from uhaul. First time to be charged for cleaning fee. Every time i clean truck before returning. First time and also the last time rent from this location

I made my reservation via phone and when I got to location to pick up vehicle they could not locate my reservation. I am glad the rep was still able to provide me a vehicle to use but it took a while to get everything processed. I also fee some of the reps in store could work on their customer service. I am aware they are busy but they don't greet and they don't acknowledge.

With COVID, there are new check out/check in procedures. I received texts regarding confirmation of my reservation but I never received the texts to scan my ID, for the checkout checklist/damage form. I also found out this morning after reviewing the receipt that the check in mileage is lower on the receipt than what I actually received it at. The representative who handed me the keys also said please return the truck at 1/4 of a tank as that's where the current level is but when I got it, it was below 1/4. Regardless, I returned it above 1/4. Staff could be more friendly at this location.
