Drop off was quick and easy. Good customer service.
Kevin MI rented the truck to travel from Fate, TX to Springtown, TX, going through Dallas downtown traffic. Unfortunately, the truck’s air conditioning was not working properly, making the drive extremely uncomfortable, especially with the heavy traffic and long distance. I’ve rented U-Haul equipment several times in the past without any issues and have always taken good care of the trucks and returned them in excellent condition. Because of that, I expect the same level of care and maintenance from U-Haul — vehicles that are fully functional and in good working order. This time, the experience was disappointing. Driving in those conditions without proper A/C created a significant hardship. I would appreciate if U-Haul could review this situation and offer some form of compensation for the inconvenience caused.
