I requested to reserve a 15 ft truck After looking at both the 10 ft and 15ft trucks. I said I want the 15ft truck because it had the mother's attack. The lady helping me reserves the 10ft truck and I did not catch it. My mother just died and I'm not at my best. I wish she had listened to me better. When I showed up to pick up the truck there were no 15ft trucks available. So, instead of one run to my storage, I had to do two runs. Very dissatisfied and disappointed.

I was charged for damage to the truck that was clearly not caused by me. The photos of the front of the truck hadn't been updated since March and when I did my walk around I didn't think to look under the bumper where someone had hit a pole. The manager at this location would not come out to discuss with me. I have always had good experiences with uhaul until this one.

I felt comfortable going into the situation because I was called the night before by an employee at the location wanting to confirm that I was going to be coming early in the morning and told me that everything was ready to go. I showed up on time for my booking at 5:00 a.m. and I did not leave the facility with a truck until 5:40 a.m. I had arrangements for drop offs and pickups so this was very stressful not being able to leave soon after I arrived for my 5:00 a.m. booking. The mobile app was very glitchy and kept kicking me out of the processing page over and over again. After finally getting to the page that illustrates what truck your order is assigned to I went to the back of the truck to unlock the padlock so I could retrieve the key. The page said that the password was DARE. I was able to spell out D, A, and R but when I attempted to move the last row to the letter E I was unable to scroll at all. I spent a good amount of time trying to move the last column for the padlock. I finally decided to try the same code for the truck next to mine and it worked right away. Upon returning my rental I explained to the employee what happened and she told me that I didn't press hard enough on the lock. I spent a lot of time trying to get it to budge. I also explained to her that I put $20 in gas (6 gallons) in the vehicle because I went 44 miles. I voiced my concern because the gas meter did not move at all initially and during the drive over to the return location. The employee ignored me and took a look at the gas gauge. I had my receipt in my hand for the gas and attempted to show her. She completely ignored me. I then asked her about some of the charges that were on my account and she said that I needed to call to figure out what was wrong. She said "I don't know". I explained to her that I was not trying to argue with her. I asked if there was anything she could do to look into it and she told me to call. I then asked her for a printout of the receipt and she told me that she emailed it to me. I went inside to another employee and asked her to print out the receipt and she was very helpful. The second woman that helped me told me I was charged for gas because she said that the tank was at three quarter full when in actuality it was under the three-quarter mark when I picked it up. I explained to her that I appreciated her taking the time because the previous woman completely pushed me away. I have used U-Haul for years and I have gone to this location several times in the past. It was unpleasant because I felt like I wasn't being heard at all and me not being able to unlock the first truck was my fault because I didn't press down hard enough. The second padlock worked right away with zero resistance thankfully.

The pre check in did not save time. I was asked the same questions at the counter, additional questions that could have been entered online, the credit card had to be rerun, multiple signatures on the electronic pad, and then they they printed the papers. When I rent a car the packet and key are ready at the counter.

I would like to give a shout out to Vee or the young lady that does the truck check- ins in the morning. She is amazing. Excellent customer service. She is very helpful and kind. I rent from U-HAUL all the time and she has NEVER had a bad attitude or rude. She is always happy and has a smile one her face. I love her !! Promote her or give her a raise !!

It seems like the ownership or management has changed. I have used this location and usually the service is great. Yesterday, the clerk was LAZY, never walked outside with me, there was no other customer in store when I arrive. I had trouble getting the lock open on the back and she drug her lazy @SS outside as slowly as possible. Then when I asked if I was supposed to take the lock she said "no this is ours" very nastily and then when I told her I didn't realize that she asked why I raised my voice and I said "because you are being unhelpful and dismissive. I'm spending my money here so it you didn't want to come to work today you should have kept your ---- at home." Upon returning the guy who helped me outside was very nice, and that is the kind of service I am used to getting at 65th. I did an online check-in so at best she should have come outside to help me, she was NOT busy at the time.

I was taken care of promptly at 9:00 AM. It is not enough time to return at 3:00 PM, and I tried to extend the time. The phone was more than 5 minute wait and the location on my smart phone was hard to find. The staff were professional and helpful. I'll be back!

My only complaint is that we got charged an extra day of truck rental and insurance. I didnt notice until the next day and i was credited back the charges.

I had the worst experience with your employee today. I pulled into the lane designated for equipment returned which is closest to the building, employee asked me to back the trailer to the far side of the parking lot when there's not enough room to back up where she was asking me to back up. Considering the amount of customer vehicles that were in the parking lot and the allotted space I was unable to maneuver the trailer. The employee then tried to instruct me on which way to turn my vehicle- I told her that I was uncomfortable taking instructions from her because if something were to happen I would be liable as the driver. I asked her why she was asking me to back the trailer in when I've never been asked before- the employees always unhitch me and send me on my way. The employee was very confrontational and said no we have you park it. I refused due to my concerns over safety and the high probability of damage- the employee then unhitched the trailer and dropped the trailer to the ground without applying the landing gear. I did not get her name but I do have a picture of her and the trailer sitting on the floor after she unhitched it. I am so confused as to why the employee was so lazy and tried to force me into a potential serious situation then proceeded to mishandle equipment.
