The return sign after hours is confusing. It says to log in and cite the return but the app wasn't helpful. After two tries I finally got a person on the phone, who was very nice, and he said oh no if you picked it up in person you just drop the keys and go. I asked how do they know we returned it by 8 pm and he said security cameras.

I found myself leaving the location with my trailer in tears, not only have I lost my house I am a mother of two children one child being only two months old. I am suffering from postpartum depression and the way that I was spoken to by the representative was as if I was stupid. He made me feel like an idiot because I didn't have an adapter, my mind was all over the place considering I have two very young children and was putting all of my stuff in a storage unit today. I made the check in easy by checking in online before I got there so there wasn't much work for the representative, but even then it seems as if I was an inconvenience to him. I know I am incredibly sensitive right now, but honestly he could have spared me the life lectures on how I screwed up today.

The self puck-up process was not sufficient. The shstem would not recognize my gps even though my location services were clearly on. This resulted in not being able to pick up my truck on time. It was 2 hours late.

The time I originally booked the uhaul truck for was taken by someone else and they booked me for it also. So, a couple days before I got a confirmation for a completely different time. So, instead of being accommodating and just giving me a different size uhaul at no cost they charged me more for the larger truck and had to change locations. I will not recommend uhaul to anyone due to the rude customer service I had during this experience.

The employees were nice. The location is difficult to get in and out of, so I would not necessarily recommend it, but it is close to where I live. My main complaint is that I had to go back home to get rope, because there were no tie downs in the vehicle. I thought I had remembered reading that tie downs came with the truck. The employee said no - I figured I remembered incorrectly. However, I just looked at the website, and tie downs are listed as part of the deal on the 10' truck. So what is up with that? Disappointing. Other than that, the truck was ok.

Had to back in trailer and move truck around to parking spot on lot. I thought that was your job uhaul Tech? Uhaul is horrible.

My reservation was moved to this location from the downtown location. Instead of a minute walk I had to secure transportation to the location and pay for additional mileage as a result of the reschedule. It wasn't even the next closet Uhaul location to me. The only advance notice I had was a day or so before, I had a call confirming my pickup at 65th street.

Not a lot of room for returns. Not really complaining, since this drop off site was really close to my home. Called customer service because I couldn't leave truck in return lane. Customer service was helpful and friendly.

My first reservation for a 26ft truck on August 12th at 9005 Elk Grove Florin Rd, Elk Grove CA was a disaster. My son arrived to pick up the truck and they didn't have it and there were no more available in the area. I had to postpone my move for a week. I would never recommend that location to anyone!!!!

Kudos to U-Haul's hiring practices - the entire staff provides great customer service. One small improvement would be to add more parking for customers' personal vehicles if possible.

While processing my request, as I went to pick up my keys and truck, the attending asked that I retrieve my phone. I gave him my phone number (which was in the Uhaul system) but he proceeded to ask that I bring my phone out so he can call it to verify that the number I gave was indeed mines. I felt insulted, humiliated and belittled. I have rented from U-Haul and other companies many times, and never has anyone asked me to pull out my phone so they can verify it belongs to me. I hope the U-Haul company holds itself to higher standards and does not tolerate this type of discrimination.

I had originally told the people at 2850 N. California that I wanted to drop off my rental at this location, but later received a text telling me to drop it off at 3900 Franklin Blvd, Suite A, in Sacramento. I took it there at 1:33 PM, but this "strip-mall" location had a sign on the door stating they would return at 2:00PM. I had an appointment at 2:00 PM in Rancho Cordova so I could not wait around for them to get back to their store. I then drove over to the 65th Street location and dropped the truck off there. The attendant told me I needed to drop it off at the Franklin Blvd location. I told him no way as I did not have the time and handed him the truck keys. I then see I was charged for the extra 4 miles I put on the truck running around because of U-Haul's incompetent dealer location. I'll be filing a complaint about that.

I was able to drop off my truck after 5, but I was charged for a half day. Since I didn't have the truck for a full 24 hours, I was able to get the charge reversed. Thank you! I'll be back.
