Have someone on location that knows how to hook-up a trailer. The location that my reservation was with did not have my reserved trailer so U-Haul sent me 80 miles out of my way to pick-up the trailer at a different location. I then had to drive another 6 miles to pick-up the furniture pads that were reserved. Not only did I have to spend an additional 2 hours of my day to get me "reserved" trailer, but I had to use three gallons of gas to do it. I don't think I will ever use U-Haul again.Michael C.

This location is terrible, the store owner never showed up. I called your agency, who was very helpful, but she cannot hold the owner. She directed me to do the self check in, it worked after two hours struggling. Also, the gas tank was nearly empty (showing 14 miles to E), I had to pump gas right way. I didn't have much experience, pumped 31 gallons, then realized I only need a bout 120 miles. I left half tank of gas there. Anyway I can get some credit? You can check the record that will tell you what happened. Please say thanks to Lila(?), the young lady who helped my on phone (3-4 calls), but the sore owner was horrible. The store never opens when I was there on time, no way to contact, even by your agency, and the truck gas tank is nearly empty! The other two locations of Uhaul in Elk Grove are wonderful, I had no choice this time because it was the only location with 20 feet. Anyway, thanks. CliffCliff L.
I need a call back. Appointment time was 9: 00 nobody showed up until 9:30. When the gentleman got there he was very rude, And also told me I did the application wrong so he made an application for me. It's been a few days and now I look at my statement and I have additional charges. I rented the U-Haul for 12 hours but had a return same day by 6:30 p.m. looking at my charges it looks like they charge me for a few days. My rental date was 2-21-2022 at 9:26 a.m. I returned the U-Haul by 6:30 same day. My return date on the receipt shows 2-23-2022 9:00 p.m.. I need a call back asap. I want to file a claim to get me extra charges taken off and also a claim against the renter companyPritesh C.

One of the worst experiences I've had with U-Haul. On April 22nd, we traveled from Oakland to Sacramento to pick up truck schedule for 9:30 on April 22nd. Confirming email was received on April 21st, When we arrived there, the office was closed and no one was there. tried to call office, but no answer. Called the main U-Haul number, but had a long wait, then had to be transferred to a local number. Spoke ro representative who said she contacted them and they were on their way. She also indicated that I would receive ma $50 credit on my credit card for the inconvenience. I never saw thew credit amount on my account statements. The owner finally showed and did not offer any apologies and acted as though nothing was wrong. We finally left with a truck sometime at 11:28. I have been ill and did not get a chance to follow-up with U-Haul until now. I will call the main number tomorrow re: refund.Gil E.
