To provide some feedback on the reservation process (first): I went online and made a reservation for the Williston, VT location for a 15' truck. The reservation was recognized/went through for a pick up on Friday, 5/29 @3 pm. I made the reservation a week in advance (plus or minus). It wasn't until Thursday, 5/28 that I received a call that Williston didn't have a 15' truck for me on Friday and that I had to travel 1.5 hrs (one way so 3 hrs total) out of my way to pick up a 15' truck in St. Johnsbury VT. Not ideal for sure. (I appreciate the UHaul team finding me a truck - but not sure why it couldn't have been brought to Williston for me and why I had to go get it). Also I was charged for the miles driving from St Johnsbury to Williston (which doesn't seem fair/right). Regarding the location in St. Johnsbury: I was able to find it pretty easily. The truck was in real good shape, no issues. The gentleman who signed me out was helpful and responsive. I will say I was really surprised to have less than a quarter of the gas tank filled. I believe the mileage remaining was between 75-80 miles before going empty (i took a picture just to be sure). Needless to say I had to fill up with some gas prior to driving back home (69 miles from St. Johnsbury to Williston).

U haul was stinky from someone hauling trash and there were maggots in the back. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

BRADBURY BCommunication was extremely poor from U Haul. I told the representative that we would not be picking up the tow dolly until the afternoon, but when we arrived at the location to pick it up, the business was closed. We were never told they closed at noon. The owner was there and did let us in and completed the rental, but was very annoyed with us for not coming before noontime when he closes, and it was also very hard to find a place to park because his whole yard was full of unused vehicles that had not been plowed or moved all winter. He told us the U Haul website had been down all day and he would not be able to rent to us if he could not connect. Fortunately, he was able to get on soon after we got there, and we were able to pick up the dolly. It was a very unpleasant experience.
