Please continue to educate and reiterate the importance of social distancing to your employees. I had a UHaul employee, when I returned the truck, stand extremely close in my personal space and tell a very long story - not normally a big deal at all, but in today's climate, I would hate for someone to be adversely impacted.
The initial interaction was excellent. When I returned the vehicle. Was called several times saying that I didn't return the key. There needs to be some other measure implemented to assure the renter that returning a vehicle after hours is still safe and has no repercussions that makes the customer feel threatened and defensive.
Front driver side headlight was out. No other issues.
It needs to be more clear to the customer the hidden costs associated with the equipment. I was never verbally told that I would have to pay for mileage on top of the fee to rent the van.

Along with the trailer, I also purchased a ball hitch from this location. The U Haul employee who assisted with the trailer was not qualified to install the ball hitch. He selected the wrong size of shank and did not torque the nut tight enough. By the time I arrived in Colorado, the nut had fallen off which created a very dangerous situation. Fortunately, I discovered that the nut was missing and was able to drive to a qualified hitch installation company for repair.
While the truck itself did perform well, about 300 miles into the trip, and in the pouring rain, the driver-side mirror assembly suddenly became so loose, it wouldn't stay in place. For the last 75 miles, I was constantly rolling down the driver side window to reach out in the cold wind and pouring rain and manually shift the mirrors, so I could see what was to the left of the vehicle. It was an uncomfortable and nerve-wracking experience. Additionally, I learned later that one of my brake lights was out. So if I have any suggestions, it would be for this site to more carefully check their vehicles before letting loose of them.
It was pouring rain, so we got in the Van without checking it for damage. When we got to my daughters college dorm, there was a large dent on the side door. I stressed the entire time about being charged. Iâ€™m sure it was already there and we did not get charged, but should indicate damage on agreement. In addition the dash indicated low tire pressure. I could not find which tire was low on the menu and did not have a tire gage. None of the tires were visibly low. Vehicles should be checked before renting
I appreciate that Simeon, who was helping me with check-out explained everything, then spoke to the men in line behind me that he will be with them shortly, once he would be finished helping me. He did not interrupt the transaction, but also acknowledged his new customers. Great job!
