Want to emphasize that we picked up at canal street but drove to Jefferson Ave bc we needed a mattress cover and had the worst experience with the employee at Jefferson Ave location who refused to allow us to purchase a mattress cover. Worst experience we have ever had with U-haul which is disappointing bc we have used you guys many times before

The process to check out the van was long and complicated. They said their system was down so I had to talk to a rep on the phone. It took over a half hour to check out. Also, I had to go back for the dolly which I had ordered. Then I didn’t use it and they told me they would refund the $7 but didn’t.

XIOMARA CThe check-in process here was pretty sketchy/weird compared to the last places I've been. Didn't have the accessories ordered, offered an alternative which was nice but really defeated the purpose of trying to plan ahead. Everyone says the other site in town is a nightmare so this may still be a better option. But add loke half an hour extra to deal with checkin issues. Called the uhaul help desk and they confirmed everything was fine with my reservation and account and it was the location being challenging.
