Employee needs more computer help, couldn't figure out why I was getting charged 4 dollars on a card, didn't ask if I wanted to be charged on card I had on file for pickup. I did online check in and it still felt like it wasn't faster.

First of all I was charged for an extra day when I had returned the truck and hour early. My original plan was to pick up using the Uhaul app at 8pm on Sunday, so I could return it after closing the next day. I was called and told the rentals were unavailable on the app without explanation. I made it to the location just in time on Sunday to pick up the truck and asked if there was a way to let me use the truck for the times I needed. But there was no one who could make this exception. Last week I reserved a truck and when I went to pick it up I asked about using a corporate code. I needed to contact my contractor to re-reserve the same truck to use the code, but somewhere along the line the code was not applied to the reservation and charged the full amount to my personal card. I was also shocked to see the mileage rates increase from $0.69 to $0.99 per mile. I would like to know how we can make this fair before I use this service again anytime soon.
I could not believe the quick service!! I forgot to reserve a truck. I called the same day and was able to go within an hour to pickup the truck. Wasn't even there 10 minutes and was in the truck and on my way!!! Excellent service. Thank you to everyone! Great friendly staff!
Where do I start? Make sure that online processes do not hold up the in person processes. They should make things go faster not slower! Moving is already stressful and unfortunately, uhaul made my weeks of moving even worse. Workers are really nice, but the incompetence of getting my truck checked in while everyone was busy, and having to be called everyday for about a week and a half to tell me the truck had not been turned in, was horrible! I had also bought many boxes and other products and even a storage unit from uhaul, so to have such treatment while I was doing so much business with them was extremely frustrating and disappointing! I have had good experiences with uhaul in the past but after this, I will probably never use uhaul again!
When a reservation is made by a customer, keep the reservation. Anyone can take a reservation , but the key is to hold the reservation. Sorry ya'll suck and I will never use u haul again.
Your store manager and his crew went above and beyond to make sure I got a piece of equipment extremely last minute.

I have a torn Acl and can't stand for an hour waiting. When I returned my truck at the allotted time no one met me in the lot to check in. When I entered the building there were about 7 people ahead of me. I went up and handed the clerk my keys and asked if he would email me a receipt. Well it was not checked in until 3:43 and they charged me for another days rental!!! Really dirty pool! I would not recommend this location!
This location was great, but originally I reserved a trailer at a different location and only received an e-mail Friday at 5:15pm when I was supposed to pick up Saturday at 11:00am. The new reservation was at a location an hour away from my previous reservation. It was very frustrating that this would even happen, let alone not even get a phone call and only get an e-mail. When I called to figure out what was going on I had to wait on hold for more than 30 minutes just to be transferred again. It was extremely frustrating.
I needed to rent a 10 ft truck and auto transport. The location had the truck but the auto transport was at a location about 4 miles away. The reservation was made 2 days in advance. Good customer service would be to have someone on the staff get the two together in advance. Bad customer service would be to have the customer stand in line for 30 minutes to sign a contract for the truck, drive the four miles, and then stand in line again to sign a separate contract for the auto transport. Guess which one U-Haul selected??? In addition, the truck that was rented had a constant low tire pressure warning that the staff said was OK - they just didn't know how to turn it off! Really instilled confidence in their professionalism.
As far as I can see nothing. The staff were friendly and professional. Especially Kayla ( not sure if spelled correctly), she was very courteous and engaging! She went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with our experience!!!!

Dropped the trailer off the same day I picked it up and where the guy told me to drop it off. They call me 4 days later asking about the status of the trailer. Guy was super unprofessional to the point it was one of my friends pranking me. I don't take kindly to be talked to like a child.
I rented a truck for one way. Dropped off the truck the next day. The staff was so unorganized they didn't check in the truck until 2 days later. I was charged for keeping the truck an extra day, tried calling about it and was told by the GM that he would get back to me within 24 hours after checking the cameras to resolve the issue. Didn't receive a call back and every time I call the location I get sent to dispatch saying that no one is available to answer the phone and at this point I do not know if I'm going to get my money back.
It's not about the location. I wouldn't recommend uhaul after my most recent experience.
Did not like getting charged an extra $7.00 for just removing the hand truck because it was in the way of loading the truck!
I was charged $75 in the morning when I checked out the truck about 9:30 or 10:00 when it was returned at 4:00 the same day I was charged $758 saying that in that short period of time and only traveling approximately eight blocks I was told we put on over a thousand miles in the on the truck I'm now disputing that charge with the credit card company this happened on Tuesday supposedly they were looking into it it's now Thursday and I haven't heard a word
Mariah was a great help and was very informative. The only hiccup was missing the furniture pads. When I called about them, Mariah said I could come by to get them or they would reimburse me the rental fee of $5.00. Otherwise, everything was easy and went very well.

I cannot recommend U-Haul itself for the incredibly poor treatment and misrepresentations made during my move, but the staff at this location was helpful and courteous. I am concerned that vehicles in Oregon are allowed to be used to transport marijuana (it's legal here) and the odor from that cargo doesn't easily leave the truck or the U-Haul cleaning process is inadequate. Three different store clerks acknowledged the smell - even at my destination days later - and the company's response was essentially â€œtoo bad for you, we are busy.â€ They should not be renting out vehicles that are not clean or ready for a family to use.
