Earl and Amber came thru for me when I was very stressed due to a dealer in Buena Vista, Co giving me bad and misleading information. Whether or not it was intentional, this dealer with All Scapes, LLC needs to learn the correct protocols because his bad info created stress and delays during my move. But thanks to Earl and Amber.... they saved the day!

The problem with the rental was not with either the pick up or drop off places. The problem was with UHaul itself. There was a definite lack of intra-company communications. The main number had a different pick up location in their computer than the actual. If I hadn't called to confirm I would have gone to the wrong place. As it was, there were 2 trucks to be picked up (on a Sunday) at the same place (which was closed). The other person took the wrong truck which had my 4 doz. moving blankets in it. UHaul main number just said that there was nothing they could do and that I should call the District office. According to the person I talked to, that office would have a way to get a hold of the location's manager in order to get blankets. When calling that number, I again was told that there was nothing that could be done since it was Sunday. I problem solved the situation myself and got what I needed, but there was no help from UHaul. It took about 2-21/2 hours to finally get it all worked out and me on my way. The managers of the location went beyond their duty, taking time out of their Sunday to get me blankets. I must have made 4 or 5 calls to UHaul that Sunday....people were not rude, but they also weren't going to solve the problem. I had to do that on my own. Thankfully, that's in my nature.

Only complaint was that the truck we rented had the drivers side taillight, brake lights and blinker out. There was leftover gum in the cab from another customer.

I was supposeded to pick up the vehicle at the Buena Vista location. Did not receive a call saying they did not have a truck for me before I got there at 9 am. Had to drive to salida. They were not aware that they had to compensate me for the extra millage. Set me back 6 hours on my moving day. THANKS for the great start

The person that helped us was rude and the trailer surge brakes didn't work due to no brake fluid in the resivore. We brought it up to the attendant and they ignored us. I had asked for a 6'x10'x10' or 12' long open trailer and they didn't have one but had a inclosed trailer. I mentioned that my back was just over 6' tall and was told ok. Got back to the camp sight and it wasn't tall enough inside. Took it back and they got me a car hauler and that's the one that didn't have working breaks. So there you have it. Never have had that problem here in indiana.

The local sites were very helpful - I called for a reservation and clearly requested an open trailer for a local rental planning to drive to Canon City Colorado from Salida Colorado, pick up equipment and return to Salida. I needed an open trailer, I when I arrived at the Salida location pick up the trailer no open trailers were available. the representative at the Salida location was very helpful and found the open trailer in Canon City and was able to discount the one ray rate to $50.00 from over $100 for a one way rental, but still more than the local rental. I was delayed unnecessarily and was disappointed with the situation although the local representatives were very helpful in both Salida and Canon City.

A mileage mistake was made at some point and we were overcharged 400 miles. It took a lot of time to work out and we were asked to pay for it and then get reimbursed. We refused and finally were charged the appropriate amount. Some of The rear lights did not work and the truck was filthy on the outside.
