I just checked my bill. I did not add fuel because I drove a relatively short distance and the needle moved minimally if at all. I was charged for 5.5 gallons of fuel after driving 18.7 miles. That = 3.4 miles/gallon in a mid-sized cargo van. I BELIEVE THAT IS A SIGNIFICANT OVERCHARGE, PERHAPS UNINTENTIONAL PERHAPS FRAUDULENT.

was getting some attitude from the vendor. then upon returning vehicle less than 2 hrs after rental and before 3 pm in the afternoon(location hrs were to 6PM) store was closed. i then had to call U-haul to find out how i was going to return the truck. after 45 minutes the store attendant return. when he returned someone called him in his office where again he was giving attitude over the phone and then turns and yells at me for calling U-Haul. when i was just trying return the truck. this will be the last time i use U-Haul and definitely will never return to this location for anything.

Normally when I've gone to get a truck an agent will come out with me and confirm any damage that is already done to the truck and confirm the gas level with me. This attendant didn't do any of that and had me sign the contract without looking at the truck. When I returned the truck, I put it exactly where I picked it up, and somehow it was overlooked and I received an email saying I hadn't returned my truck at all! wow. And then I was overcharged for gas refill.

The man running this location was awesome.



The driver seat belt was broken and unusable. Windshield and mirrors were dirty. I reserved the vehicle online. It took two tries since the online program kicked once. Then I discovered the first try did work and now had two vehicles reserved. I called and had one cancelled. I selected this location but the vehicle was reserved instead at another location. Reentering all the data again added about 40 minutes to finally have the vehicle. The software was as cumbersome for the Uhaul representative as it was for me.

My reservation did not have insurance. I was forced to pay insurance as the location saud they could not remove it. I am a corpotare fleet driver, i did not need any additional insurance coverage

Online form let me schedule a pick up at 8 am. The man at the store didn't arrive until 8:05 and told me he had to check-in the uhauls from last night before he could check them out to me. The internet was slow and his computer was even slower so it took almost an hour for me to get my uhaul. Not to mention, I had filled out the pre-check-in stuff online beforehand to make it faster. The guy also had no appliance dolly like I had requested. The employee was super friendly and helpful.

the truck cab was dirty. the dashboard had about 1/8 inch dust on it. there were wipes and tissues on the floor and in the cup holder. the service was great and i think just because Richard was so easy to work with I'll recommend him and this location to clients and friends.

Both Uhaul and the location from which I picked up & dropped off are HORRIBLE! The guy working when I picked up didn't have the slightest clue what he was doing. It took 45 minutes even though I got an email saying I could do the pickup through my phone. I finally got the truck, got it loaded, only to realize the bracket through which the lock is supposed to go was I couldn't lock the truck. I had to sit out there ALL night to guard my belongings. Then I got two emails with instructions on how to do an after hours return. Given the fiasco when I picked it up, the idea of not having to deal with another person was appealing. I fueled it up, and parked it where it was when I got it. Then I started the process of the after hours return, only to get an error message that the uhaul website was down. So I called CustomerService and spoke with Kim. She told me this location didn't offer after hours drop off. Then why did I receive multiple emails telling me to use after hours drop off?! And why was I not informed of that when I picked it up?! She was worthless and had nothing to offer. Why couldn't I return it to another location nearby? That would have been a good customer service option if Uhaul values its customers. But no... she hung up on me. So then I had to wait for an hour for the location to open. Then the worker didn't know how to return a truck. This was a different employee who didn't have a clue how to do his job and had to call someone for instructions. He was also extremely rude and had a dog with him that kept coming after me. I'm allergic to dogs. Dogs do NOT belong in a place of business...EVER. Everything about this experience was unprofessional. The truck was seriously defective - a truck that can't be locked isn't worth renting. The fact that I was charged full price for this hellacious experience is absurd. I will NEVER use that location again, and I strongly recommend Uhaul revoke their dealership license. And, whoever Kim is at CustomerService should be fired. None of these people are doing anything to improve the image of your company. I will think long and hard before I use Uhaul ever again.

My rental truck broke down and wasn't able to use it for my move. We managed to move one load but it broke down soon after that. We called it in and was told somebody would be there in hour. My son sat in the truck and waited but nobody showed for quite a long time. I was very disappointed in the whole experience. Mostly the time it took to somebody here that to fix our problem

I made my reservation online to pick up a trailer in Heber City, UT; a facility across the street from a mini storage where I was to empty a locker into the trailer. Late afternoon before my pick-up date I received a call to confirm my impending pick-up in Salt Lake City - 45 miles distant. 90 miles extra to drive. Was told no trailers of my desired type were available close to my requested pick up location. When unloading my storage site I saw 2 off-peak trailers at my requested location. I inquired and was told that neither were reserved. Either U-Haul's system is faulty or I was deceived. I did not appreciate having to drive an extra 90 miles to obtain my trailer or being told without a timely notice so I could alter my route. The SLC location was fine and the clerk was friendly and professional.

I returned my equipment on Monday around 3:30 pm MST ( the location was closed due to holiday). The next business day Tuesday may 30th i receive an email that my equipment was not returned and they tried to contact me. I did not have any missed calls at all. I called the number on my contract which took me to customer service and I spoke with Beverly who was not able to help me at all and was only reading the notes on her screen to me. She and I both tried to contact the facility directly with no luck as they were not answering phones. I said the security cameras on the east of the building would see that I parked and brought the truck back and the camera on the front of the building would see me putting the keys in the box with time stamps to verify I brought the equipment back. After trying to reach the location directly for about an hour myself i left a voice message explaining the above and my concern with not being contacted and especially not being able to contact anyone! I asked to be called back and still have not received any call from anyone, but only received an email thanking me for choosing U-Haul yesterday May 31st at 8:33 am MST. I am appalled that it took this long to resolve this and NO ONE has called me as I asked and that I even received communication about equipment not being returned! Any thing you are able to do on your end to help resolve this very very disappointed customer would be helpful as at this time i can honestly say that U-Haul will not be my first choice next time I need any moving needs as you have been in the past.
