I just cannot use U-Haul again with the call in queue where I cannot talk to a person Several times I had to call, every time the 14minutes crap spew about being open and then a long queue to listen to while I was driving. If you want me to call back and confirm? Pick up the phone If you want me to call to say I'm returning a trailer? PICK UP THE PHONE. If you want to settle something with a card transaction? Pick up the phone I hated the whole online Impersonal business. Do you driver license YOURSELF, we can't take a copy, do this QR code. No. I just will not do it. I have a question? Call this stupid queue that NEVER in 3 calls did I get an answer. WHAT IN GODS NAME would compel me to waste my time and hear those messages again And another thing, if I HAVE to listen to your crappy queue, give me MUSIC, not your endless ads, over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over while I am blowing my mind on no one picking up the phone. HIRE SOME PEOPLE Next time I will go Home Depot. Jees I'll BUY a trailer. I can't deal with this impersonal imperfect time consuming frustrating non-service. The guys loading and unloading were great, but you better have a phone, you better have an email, or you cannot do business with U-Haul anymore. Moves are frustrating enough. I'll cart this crap around on my HEAD, I'll make 101 trips with a mini van before I'll deal with such an impersonal service. PS I owe you $$ on a declined card but I refuse to call your stupid phone number. We have more people to deal with, yes, but my god you have business all day long and computers. DOES EVERYTHING HAVE TO BE IMPERSONAL??? UGG. Hire a few more monkeys do something. The online and queue phone tree are above my frustration level. Frustrated doesn't begin to cover it. HATED THIS EXPERIENCE, we are stupid animals, we have questions, and there is NO ONE that can answer them.NOT ONCE did someone pick up a phone call into uhaul. NOT ONE TIME. And I got different info from the people I did talk to via “chat” at 2:20am in teh MORNING hopping I would CATCH a human being. I don't know how people put up with this impersonal stand behind the Line, YOU DO IT YOURSELF but I won't do it again.

Check in was horrible. I had everything filled out online before my arrival through the app. Still had to wail inline for 45 minutes only for the associate to ask me the questions I had already answered on the app. When I made my reservation I made it for 8 AM but was told I had to pick it up at 10 even though the location opened at 7. If everything is filled out on the app you should be able to show the reservation to an associate in the lot, hook up the trailer and drive away. It should take 10 minutes tops. From the time I got to the location till I drove off was 1 hour. I needed a 1 day rental and only had the trailer in my possession for 24 hours but had to pay for 3 days.

The experience of the online check in was not as seamless as the video made it seem. The workers at the location were not helpful in assisting us with the check in, and there was confusion about where the keys were located at and whether or not the truck was actually cleaned/prepped for me.

Everything was good for the most part. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The truck I rented had an issue where when I slowed down, the engine would automatically rev up to 4,000 - 4,500 rpms. It did this a few times, but it was noticeable since it sounded like the engine was getting ready to blow out. I spoke about this with the person who checked-in the equipment when I was finished, so hopefully it has been documented and will be fixed.

The van still had cigarette butts and trash in it.




The person working the truck pull up service gave away my assigned and reserved truck to another person causing me to go back in line and wait for another 30 min, waiting for another truck and the delay caused me to miss my mover appointment. I am sure he did it to be helpful to the people who got my truck which were highly confused and needed a lot of coaching. It was just bad timing on my part not padding my schedule with the movers.


Just keep up the good job and the good customer service .

Service was friendly. App was not easy to complete in a hurry and the vehicle I received had to be changed out because the battery was dead. I spent 30 mins using the contact less application and car was not operable.


Truck was dirty outside and inside the cargo area. Auto transport license plate was falling off. When I made the appointment I told them I wanted to drop off the auto transport in Houston. They still charged me the full price to take it to Florida. I had trouble the entire trip dropping it off. When I got to Florida they said I owed 2500 for the auto transport dropping off in Houston when they told me in San Diego that I wouldn't be charged extra. This was the worst experience I've ever had moving.
