Not sure what happened but I had a reservation on a 4x7 trailer but when I got there, it had been rented out. However, Edgar (can't remember if that name is accurate, he wore glasses) was able to set me up w/ a replacement with little hassle.

Arrived girl at the desk immediately acknowledged me and began helping me check in. She then printed out the contract and told me to exit and she’d be right behind us. Walked out while she began to help another customer. There was a van but it didn’t match the number that I was given So I was waiting. A guy that we wandering around said that that was my van and kinda treated me like I was stupid . The girl came out and stated that he was to do a walk around and he blew it off like it . Since the fuel was lower than the 3/4 I went back in. At no point was there any acknowledgement of the screw up. Customer service could improve

Made my reservations online, which was super fast and simple. Saved a lot of time when I got to the pick up site. The lady at the site was super friendly and helpful. Van was ready as scheduled and off we went in less than 10 minutes! Van drove great; seats were comfortable, A/C was perfect. Made the 1300 miles comfortable even with 95 deg temps and 10-15 kt winds! Drop off was even faster! Great Service!

The cost of a one way trailer was too high at over 3 times the cost of a 5 day rental. this seemed excessive and forced me to drive an empty trailer 400 miles. I was not pleased with this.

I appreciate the staff member informing me of making a reservation online to help ensure a vehicle would be available for my next move. I had an impromptu decision to use a 10' Uhaul truck, but none were available--due to high demand at the end of a month AND a weekend. The Uhaul staff member did offer an available van, which being so spacious worked great for my move. Keep doing the good work!

The cowgirl that was working the front desk was all about chatting and schmoozing with the couple she was helping because they were the son of some other uhaul rep- instead of actually getting things done. I completed the express online check-in but still had to wait over an hour to receive the vehicle because your computer system crashed and had to be restarted several times. Meanwhile, the online check in did not give me a key number, so I couldn't get a vehicle even though I already paid and completed paperwork. There was a guy who was there to pay for and fill up propane for another local business who was helped before me even though I had already been waiting over 30 mins at that point, he just walked right in. It's like the line didn't exist... Van was dirty! And the outlet on the dash doesn't work. I honestly want to file a dispute with my credit card and get my money back.

Would be more efficient to have one line for customers with reservations and one for walk-ins. When I arrived to pick up my rental, I waited 45 minutes to get to the service rep. I even checked-in online to expedite my pick-up. The wait was ridiculous.The van I received was dusty on the inside including the windows.

My representative/location was excellent in every way! Regarding the Vehicle, all was very satisfactory, but a basic exterior wash/spraydown would have been nice...although the vehicle was great-new and the interior was clean/spotless, the exterior was a bit dirty-dusty-buggy for a 600+ mile rental...(but I'm quirky that way!).

I have been trying to contact someone from uhaul for days now and cannot get a hold of anyone. I have had a very poor experience. From the get go, the representative that i spoke with over the phone took 20 min to make my reservation only to tell me at the end that he could no linnet make it and i would have to go in person to the location but i would have to be there in the next 10 minutes before they closed. Then i called the midway location and a woman assured me they would wait for me to get there and said she put it in my notes that i was on my way. Once i got there no on was helping me and i had to flag down a guy to get me checked in, he was very “annoyed” and tried to deny me and said they were closed. Finally he helped me and said he can i was renting would be $19.95 plus mileage and gas. We filled the tank back to half way which is where it was and we did not drive far. We parked it back in the same spot after about 2 hours. When i asked the man what i need to do to confirm that i dropped it off when i get back he said just to leave the keys in the drop box and that was it. Then i get a text 2 days later claiming i still have the van and i call uhaul to check on this and she said i was supposed to check in when i dropped it off on my phone (i was never told this) and she said she would make a note in my account and contact the location for me to make sure things were squared away and said someone would contact me within 24 hours to follow up. I have not heard anything from anyone and i have THREE charges on my card. One of them is over $80 which i never authorized. This has been the worst form of customer service i have experienced. I need these charges reversed and would like someone to contact me and give me a call so i can confirm that this is settled. I didn’t not have this van over night, and i did not authorize these charges.

A few hours before we were supposed to pick up, we were informed that we would have to drive completely out of our way to pick up the trailer because they had it at the wrong location. This resulted in us putting more miles on the U-Haul and wasting more gas that we then had to pay for. We were a little under 3/4 tank and were charged $20 for it. I shouldn’t have been charged at all because of all the inconveniences you all caused me. Terrible service. Won’t use again.

Uhaul needs to update their computer system. It takes too long and creates long lines. Fellow customers become agitated and then your employees have to deal with that. Your employees do their best with a slow outdated system avoid Uhaul as much as possible. If UHaul made it easier to rent I would use the service more often.

Be aware that the parking lot is small so maneuvering an RV was tight. But thats no one’s fault. Major point with the company as a whole is the online location pick up preference. I requested a pick up in Pacific Beach. The day before, I was called and told the only location that had what I needed was in Chula Vista; 40 minuets in the opposite direction of my trip! Ricardo and Mark worked magic to eliminate the inconvenience. If it weren’t for him I would have canceled the order. The website should not provide a location as a preferred pick up location if the items are not at that location!
