Add notes for your central calling center that there is no parking at this location. I called beforehand to verify and was assured repeatedly that I was going to be able to park there. Not so. Don't give me a car that has 3/8 of a tank of gas in it. How hard is it to have at least half a tank in there. Why can customers not drop off their rentals after hours through a simple dropbox. And no reasonfornall the penalties in addition to a charge of $1 a mile: $35 penalty for returning at less than 1/4 tank plus $4.50 per gallon plus plus plus. Will not rent from Uhaul anymore.

I still haven't received the email receipt and it's been 4 hours since the return. Even Chase credit card has already advised me of the charge to the credit card.

The location seemed to be messy and not very well kept, but it's conveniently located and I didn't have to wait too long for service. The vehicle I was assigned was dirty and I the odometer registered a mile just as I drove off the lot, but it was a virtually brand new truck. I've only ever experienced very old and rundown vehicles from Uhaul. It was a nice change to drive a truck that I wasn't afraid was going to break down on me.

The manager has bad customer service, the truck was stalling, And I don't think the odometer was working. The store manager Troy told me from san francisco valencia location to 9th st in Richmond and back was about 150 miles. I'm pretty sure something is wrong with the odometer on that truck. The manager Troy was not helpful to try to fix the issue and didn't return my calls to help solve this problem.

This is the sweetest Uhaul ever, super professional and kind, the best service around. I had read online, before coming to the city, that SF Uhaul was temperamental, but not this one! This location is the absolute worst. Their customer service is by far the most terrible I have ever seen. I reserved a vehicle over the phone. I told them I needed to pick it up when they first opened and drop it off after hours. They said it was no problem. I understand that this is a call line. They should be trained in store policy and what to tell customers. I came in to pick it up and there were two associates working. Both of them spoke to customers like they had marbles in their mouth. Only after the second time another customer asked "What?!" did the associate finally look up from what he was doing to speak louder and more clearly. Even when they spoke to each other they mumbled. When I got to the counter, the associate started checking me in. He asked if I could drop it off before they closed. I said, "no, I explained when I made the reservation that I would have to bring it in after hours." He said he couldn't do that, but I could drop it off the next morning before 9:30 to avoid another charge. I said that I have no place to store it over night, and that when I placed the reservation they said that was ok. He said that I could bring it in and park it there and then bring the key in before 9:30. I said, "there's no drop box?" He said no and that I would need to bring in the key before 9:30. I said that's not going to work, but I could bring it by before 11. He said that's fine. All this time, when I had questions he didn't know the answer to, he was calling someone to get the answers. Obviously, didn't know the store and the policies. I dropped the truck off that night after hours, like it was discussed. The next morning at 7:11 am, I received a call from the manager of the store telling me I had to bring in the keys before 9:30. I was absolutely livid. The most terrible customer service I have ever experienced, and then called at 7:11 am to demand the keys back because YOUR ASSOCIATE DOESN'T UNDERSTAND POLICY?! And then I go into the store, drop off the keys, and talk to him about the associate. I said, does that guy work at a different store, or is he new? Or what? "Nope, he works here, and he knows the policies. I think he was just being 'nice' by telling you you could park it here overnight." NICE? Not one part of this entire transaction was "nice." Can't stand this store. Thanks.

The $19.95 rental price per day that UHaul advertises is incredibly misleading.

I returned the gas EXACTLY the same position at 1/2 a tank and you cherged for gas. YOU ARE RIPPING ME OFF FOR 6.75. I only went to your location for convenience. Not again! Have A area manager call me please, 415 2609236
