This was the WORST uhaul rental ever. The first pick up location and the second one did not either. I had to drive 100 miles round trip just to pick up. Renting a 6x12. Im no small weak guy. It was a pain to hook the trailer alone. Tongue weighs over a 100#’s. No help from the children working there of course and the one adult couldnt lift a spare tire out of a trunk

I have purchased mattress bags online and chose to pick up at store along with the rental car and that lady told me they dont do online orders pick up at store, asked me to pay again for the mattress bags not trying to look up my order which i showed her with my phone, also asked me to call Uhaul for refund but she doesnt guarantee coz these items are not refundable/returnable. I paid $3.49 each online and i have to pay $5.99 each at retail store, i total paid $20.72 for 2 full size mattress bags!

I rented the truck at 3pm and returned it at 5:45pm but was charged 2 days since the office closed at 4pm and your online check-in does not work. When I tried to enter the mileage as 9024, the online keyboard would only enter "9.24", the zero key does not work on an android phone running firefox. There was no way around this bug, so I put a note in along with key in the key box, but I was still charged 2 days for a 3 hour rental.

I rented a cargo van - it was fine, but there were still water bottles in the cab from the previous customer, and the floor in the back of the van was wet, so a little bothersome since we were transporting furniture. So maybe a little more care with cleaning? There was a very small billing issue which was resolved immediately. Thank you!

Your staff needs to be trained with troubleshooting problems with your u-haul app and web browser. I had 5 reservations cancelled and wasted on $200 dollars by hiring movers who were unable to use the truck I reserved only to find out it was canceled. I had to call to discover my truck was canceled. There was no notification given to me .I stood in the freezing cold on the phone with customer service to get a truck, by 9:45pm I was finally able to reserve a truck and received a lock code that DIDNT WORK. The number to contact for lock code errors went straight to voice mail , Jason with area code (408) did not call me back. Why bother having that number to contact when most of the problems occur after hours and you won't pick up ? U-haul closed at 4pm on 12/20pm that's considerably early for business hours . I've made multiple reservations to trucks they didn't have available on their lot and it was a stressful experience. I wasn't able to move and now have to re-route my plans and move right after Christmas with movers inflating their prices. I wouldn't recommend this site to anyone or uhaul in general. Find movers with large enough trucks and save yourself the headache.

The place didn’t ask me before proceeding with my charging my card whether or not I wanted the insurrence in my vehicle - when I asked them to do it they said there would still be a 200 hold on my card for several days - this forced me to go without the insurance - when I returned the video with a slight scratch on the upper part of the vehicle (probably just from a low branch) they charged me over $400. This was completely unacceptable.

The man at the front desk who I was forced to deal with because he is the only person working there at any given time, was extremely rude, condescending, and down right disrespectful. I refuse to use this uhaul location in the future, and I am considering not even using uhaul as a company in the future because of this employee. I am deeply disappointed with Uhauls lack of customer service training of their employees, as this man was an "asshole" for all intents and purposes.

I found the self-service method of acquiring a Uhaul to be more troublesome and essentially useless. It took almost a valuable 1 hour for me to obtain my Uhaul.. Through my cell phone, i was engaged in a text chat with someone in Arizona. It took almost 10 minutes for someone to initiate the chat. The person asked for a photocopy of my license. I did not feel comfortable about this (ID Theft) but i did it anyway. The person then asked an alternate name and phone number in which the person called to verify. This was ridiculous because it was a cold Saturday early morning and all is still asleep. The person then said that we could not proceed without an alternate person and phone. I then mentioned that if i went into the Uhaul office, they never asked for an alternate person & phone number. The person then mentioned that it was because i live in Calfornia and there has been a high theft rate! I let go being offended by this utterly stupid policy because i was approaching 1 hour in getting my Uhaul. Because it took a long time in something i could have done in 10 minutes if were to get my Uhaul through the facility, I hit the morning TRAFFIC! The self-service feature in obtaining a Uhaul is useless and a waste time with all the different tasks you have to go through. Also the fact that you have to engage in a chat someone most likely in a different state! I also did not like the reason why i had to send a picture of my drivers license to a person that is out of state. Lastly, i did not like the reason why i had to go through all that hoopla because "i live in California and theft was in the rise in my area. On the contrary, i live a fantastic area and Uhaul theft can happen anywhere and at any time. Stay way from the self-serve. Go into the Uhaul facility..

The location is not marked clearly. There is parking for trucks in the back but no key drop off in back. Fortunately, I figured out the front of the location had a key drop off.
