It would be great if they would discuss how to drive the truck in a city with a lot of hills- meaning how and when to shift gears. Also, I would like to know about brake and tire inspections.

Avoid using the website at all costs, it's broken, and unusable. Unfortunately that makes the support numbers necessary, which are in many ways as bad as the website. The in-person service is more their forte. The people running the 47 Cambon (Parkmerced) location are great.

U-Haul kept adding more charges onto my credit card, over and above the original deal, with no notification or explanation. Four additional charges just showed up in my bank account. I will not be using U-Haul again; I'm very unhappy with the company's financial behavior.

Everything was ok except one small detail. We used 24 miles total. When we received our email they stated that we used 74 miles. I called and they checked and explained that they made a mistake and they would take care of it. Other than that the customer service was really nice and the truck worked out great

I found the customer service rep. very friendly and helpful. My only suggestion for the company, which would greatly reduce the stress of the situation is if you could possibly offer overnight parking for customers' cars while they were renting a truck/van. Anyway, thanks for the help.

Walk out with the customer to check (1) the mileage on the odometer as well as the (2) level of gas in the tank as compared to on the contract. I didn't do it (my fault), but it would have been great to have been walked out there with the staff to check that all was well. The mileage and the odometer weren't accurate in the contract and I ended up having to buy more gas and then for more miles. Bummer. I realize that I could have (and should have) checked all of this myself.

First of all, I went into the store to reserve my truck for a later date. The employee there said that I have to reserve it online, so that was the first waste of my time. Next, I had a pick up time of 3 PM, and I waited in line until almost 4 until I got the truck. Lastly and most importantly, my total estimated cost was $67.95 Plus $1.89/ mile driven. I drove it for less than 2 miles. I literally drove my property down the road and they charged me for 40 miles at $1.89 for an additional $75.60. Complete rip off. I will be talking to the owner.

I left my car parked right in front of UHaul and when I returned the next door neighbor had glued a no parking sticker to my window. Staff at UHaul would do nothing and I am still trying to remove the sticker. I was not parked illegally. The truck was dirty and I will never use UHaul again.

Hello Uhaul I rented a 9' cargo van at 19.99 dollars plus 0.99/mile for less than 4 hours. When I entered the vehicle, the fuel gauge indicated 3/4 remaining. However, the rental contract said it still has 7/8 remaining. I could not be able to come back to the staff to discuss this issue because before I left the store, they told me that the store was now closing and just to leave the key in the box. So I continued on my using of the van. After I finished, I dropped the key into the box. In this morning, I have received an email invoice indicating I am being charged 255.21 dollars. I was already charged 75 dollars yesterday. I only rented the vehicle for less than 4 hours and drove around 30 miles and have filled up the fuel. I have called the store at 47 Cambon Dr, San Francisco and explained my concerns. The staff put me on hold for more than 20 minutes and no responses. After that, I am not able to call in again. I hope this is just a rare random event because I have been using Uhaul for whenever I need. This time, I feel really upset because I never had this issue before.

You shouldn't recommend people from Movinghelp.com that are so unprofessional and don't show up for the move. Byers Movers in San Francisco is awful! Also I forgot my credit card at the location. I am not sure why the agent didn't call me since my phone number was on the contract.
