The person was serving us is not polite and was rude. He told me that the store closes at 3pm, I agreed. After we used the uhaul, I went online to return the uhaul while standing outside the store. My brother began to opening the door I told my brother â€œthey are closed at 3â€. But my brother said â€œthe sign says they are closed at 4pmâ€. I warned my brother not to bother the guy because he was rude already when I came to the get the uhaul. They Guy came out looks mad, and being rude to us again. I told the guy â€œMy brother didn't know that you are closed at 3pm, because the signs says 4pmâ€. They should have change the time out side the store. So people doesn't get confused. We don't mind. But his service to us was poor. This is 4th time we rented uhaul but this is first time we are served poorly. I dont want to recommend to any family and friends to go there.

I choose to use the Mobile Contactless pickup and it was a terrible experience. I wish on the website it will clearly list the steps involved at the time of pick up. Or maybe some of the validation steps should be done ahead of time. Definitely will not use this method to pick up a rental again especially it is during normal business hour where we get help from a live person.
Hello, I'm writing to complain about my Uhaul experience this past weekend. I originally made a reservation on 11/15. I was told to call on 11/21 to make sure my rental was confirmed. When I called, the representative said there were no trucks available and claimed they called an left message on 11/18. However, I had no missed calls or voice messages from any uhaul representatives. I was able to find a uhaul for 1.59/mile at another location. When I arrived, the person checking me in said that my reservation was canceled because I was supposed to arrive at 8am. However, the confirmation email I received said that I was guaranteed a truck and to arrive at 9am. The representative ultimately completed my rental, but only after I complained and showed them my email. After returning my truck on time, I got an email saying I was charged $2 instead of the originally quoted $1.59/mile. Not only was I overcharged, but customer service representatives were dishonest and I feel taken advantage of. Moving is already stressful in itself. My experience with Uhaul was beyond frustrating and I am hesitant to book again. Sincerely, Patrick Custado

I scheduled my uhaul pickup for 7am and used the app so that i wouldn't need to interact with anyone, however, when i got to the UHaul location, the truck did not have any of the dolleys i had ordered so i had to wait for an hour until the store opened just to get the dolleys.
Everything was excellent
Customers lined up exactly 8:00 and I left 8:40 but still no one inside the office..
The clerk was very standoffish and seemed as though he'd rather be anywhere else but the job that pays for his bills. I had locked the keys in the truck upon return because I had misread the instructions. That part is on me. But when I asked him for help and if the insurance I paid for would cover the locksmith, he offered very little help or even interest, and told me that my insurance wouldn't cover it and I would have to pay 80 for a local locksmith. We called the uhaul customer service and he was friendly and was able to connect us with a locksmith that the insurance DID cover. In addition to that, the van upon pick up had trash under the seats and mud tracked onto the floors. The tank had about a quarter tank left, which would have been a problem for the next person if they had been traveling a longer distance and was in a time constraint to pick up something as I was. With only a quarter tank, I should have been notified that I would have to take time to fill up the tank before use so I could have planned accordingly. Overall, the service at this location was terrible, and I would not come here again unless I needed the most basic service that required minimal interaction with that clerk.
Your system of online reservations sucks! If customers already at the store & ready to rent, why he/she can't entertain the business. Instead asking the customer to go to their phone & do it themselves. Then to follow all the guidelines, taking pictures, mileage, etc.. Why bother putting someone in the store if they can't assist themselves?

Employee was rude, didn't answer phone calls, and voice mailbox is full. Also wasn't very helpful to other customers. seemed like he just gave responses/answers to not have to deal with them.
The ui for the online experience needs a lot lot of work. I was so frustrated.

This was the worst experience I've ever had with any company. After going to our van rental which we based on the DAILY rate we paid for from the site we were told we only had the van from 11-5 that day "because other people needed it". HELLO WE NEEDED IT THAT's WHY WE BOOKED IT FOR THE DAY. then the movers we got through Uhaul were 2 hours late and the storage facility on Bayshore DIDN'T HAVE OUR RESERVATION which we booked 2 months in advance. Honestly trash.

really poor contactless pickup. Website wouldn't load then lock wouldn't open. Car was left unlocked with blankets and dollys thrown in the back
Start from the basics... lol Meet and greet..
1) clearly instruct renters they must check in condition online before driving away. 2) truck had many scratches and even graffitti on it before renting use. We photographed everything. 3) Return should be available in-person with agent especially during business hours. Should not require renter to do check-in/return by ourself.
Costumer service in this location was terrible. It was my first time renting a truck with U-haul and the guy working there did not give me any instructions, he just gave me keys and referred me to check online to figure out everything. I was surprised that he did not even gave me a copy of the contract. In addition, they overcharged me because the number of miles were miscalculated. I'm not sure if I will use U-haul again but if I do I will never come back to this location.
The only area of improvement would be customer service on-site. I noticed no one answers the phone or they close earlier than the hours listed.
I was charged a cleaning fee at the conclusion of my rental. That would make sense to me if the car I rented was clean when I checked in. I reported the issue and was charged. I would understand if every reservation was charged a cleaning fee but then the car would have to be clean when you checked in. There was: Dirt all around the exterior Dirt and muddy footprints in the back bed
The manager always meets my rental needs. This time he had very little notice and still came through for me.
I was charged for dollys I intended to rent that I did not get put in the back of my rental. When I asked the gentleman at the counter if they were in the back, since I didn't see them, he said yes. I trusted him so I drove to my old rental to load the van and there were no dollies. I wanted to discuss this fact upon return of the van, but when I went in to return my keys, there was no one in the place and the door was locked despite it being 11AM. I waited 10 minutes for someone to come help and no one did. Awful service, but the van was clean
The service at the location was great but the Van had some major issues with the brakes. They weren't really working and I realized that trying to brake on the highway just to find that I had to use all of my strength to push the pedal down with very little response. I'd recommend servicing the vans and not putting anyone else at risk. This has nothing to do with the specific location. The service on bot the pick up and drop-off was wonderful. Thanks!
