The live verification process was absolutely awful. My reviewer told me to enter driver's license details, and even 10-15 minutes after I had done so was telling me it wasn't there. I'm not sure if it doesn't update on their side quick enough or what, but I had to wait a ridiculous amount of time for them to verify. My agent was also very very slow to respond, and that made the experience all the more frustrating.

Everything was fine, but pick up the phone when a client calls. The phone is never answered and the voice mail box is full. Same situation with the confirmation text, no response. It is like dealing with a ghosts.

The reservation process was cruel and unusual-- I was sent an email at midnight, before I was supposed to pick up my rental, and the truck and time we're incorrect... Spent an hour or more on the phone, changing the location, so I could pick up at 6:30 am... NEVER ONCE BEING TOLD THAT UHAUL WOULD HAVE TO CALL 2 REFERENCES TO COMPLETE MY RESERVATION-- AT 6:30 AM, on a SAT, with no notice-- who do you know is up at that hour. The customer service representative was rude, and disconnected me. I had to wait 1 1/2 hours at dawn, in an unsafe location to wait until the location opened at 8am-- my personal safety was in danger, and I lost my moving help, because I was almost 2 hours behind, because of Uhaul. I will NEVER rent from you again, and will be pursuing a civil action in San Francisco superior court, to recoup the expense of my rental, additional rent, and additional moving expenses because I lost my help that day. You people are terrible, and I will make sure everyone knows it-- you might not think $1500 isn't worth going to court over, but I do-- Helen Bozkurt One way rental from San Francisco to Citrus Heights, Ca 3/24

Customer service was not what I expected at all. Location was not open on time. I did not receive my military discount. Contract was not what we estimated. Upon return the location was closed 45 minutes before time of closing. Over paid for service.

Explain the additional charge for CDW so the customer is aware of that charge. I didn't know anything about it until I got my bill. I don't mind the $10 charge, but just was completely surprised by it and had to look it up on your website to see what it was.

Person at counter listed on our receipt that I rented 4 packs of moving pads. I only rented and took 2 packs. When I returned truck and pads at different location I had to explain I only rented 2 packs of pads. After some hassle, I was believed and was not charged for pads I never had.

I had an existing big abalance that was taken care of a few weeks ago but it came up again at the time I was picking up my rental and delayed my schedule. I hope they take care of that so that I don't waste my time every time I pick up a vehicle. This is not any fault of the gentleman who runs this store.

Made an appointment to rent a 10' truck early in the morning at 47 Cambon Dr location the check-out process was quick and it made my moving experience easy. The service attendant was nice and professional, will definitely resort to this location on my next move.

I made a few rentals in the last week and I thought I was being overcharged when I checked the receipt. It was all my fault and when I called to find out what it was the person who helped explained what had happened. I have been in a few times and they were always friendly and helpful.

I was charged for furniture pads but none were given to us at the time of the rental. I called and the rep remembered me and said they normally give the pads to the customers but he didn't give them to me. No apology nothing... and the location was a good 30 minutes away (why weren't we set to pick up on Bryant St which is 2 minutes away I'll never know). Anyway I am still waiting for my REFUND of the pads... And THANKS to the guy who didn't give me the pads we had to purchase 3 for $80 at another store since we didn't have time to deal with his mistake. Don't charge customers for equipment they didn't rent and issue refund immediately when you know you charged for something they did not receive. Big fat fail at this location!
