Clean the trucks inside, have the equipment that you reserved they did not nor did they call in advance to let me know. Had to go to another site just to rent a dolly. Didn't have the check in sheet or check out sheets for the damages already on the truck or form to let them know the mileage or gas had to take a picture for my own records . Poor service!

The dolly and the moving pads that I ordered were not available at the location I picked up the truck. The lack of these simple items made the move much more stressful as we were working on a tight time frame. We had to then locate and purchase a dolly and moving pads which pushed our time frame back. Imagine the stress of being stuck in traffic with the minutes dwindling away as you wonder if you will get charged for being late, all due to the location not having the items you ordered.

Better check-in system for small pick up locations. Took almost 20 minutes for person checking out truck to enter the same information I had already entered online. Waste of time. Also, better return option for in-town moves. Very inconvenient to HAVE to return truck to the same location (there is a Uhaul location down the street from where I moved to, but I had to drive the opposite way to return it to where I got it from). Do what's best for the customer, but of course, the more miles the truck is returned with, the more money the customer will need to pay, the more money Uhaul makes.

This was the worst experience possible. I had a confirmed reservation and arrived at the location to find that the reservation had been cancelled. Checking with your customer service, they indicated that my confirmation went out at 8:50AM but the reservation had been cancelled by the dealer at 8:51AM. They were amazingly rude claiming that a reservation never existed. Your Oakland people verified that they still had the truck and reinstated it, but in every regard they were rude beyond belief. The truck was dirty inside. Apparently they don't even inspect trucks. My windshield was damaged, but they didn't know it. When I returned, they asked me to take a picture of the dash rather than verifying the fuel and mileage themselves. The truck had slightly less than full gas when I picked it up but they told me it was just the gauge. When I filled it up on return, the gauge worked fine, meaning that I put in more gas than I used. These people are awful. Your customer support people gave me good service but this location was absolutely the worst. I may rent from U-haul again, but from now on, I will never go to a local dealer if this is what I am to expect.

The person helping me wasn't very helpful. On my receipt it shows that I dropped off my truck 16 hours after I really did. I only used the truck for 4 hours, so you might want to train people better so another person doesn't get charged just because they put the wrong information on the receipt.

The brand new van stank of cigarettes. It was unbearable for me and my pregnant wife to sit in it. If we were not stuck on time for which we rented the van, I would have returned it in a heartbeat. Had to drive 56 miles on the freeway with windows down.

The first time I went there and I cannot find the location, but the GPS told me that is on my right side, so I walked around and i finally found a very small name "U-Haul" tag on the Gas station, i didn't know that the gas station is part of the U-Haul company tho, lol....Need a bigger name, so ppl can find it easily.

I was quite surprised to find that this was a gas station instead if a uHaul store setup. If I had understood that then I would have planned for how slow the service was. The unfamiliarity with the process and lack of understanding of the vehicle capacity. I ordered a cargo van and got a panel van. Completely changed the load out I expected to use and I was unable to load as much as I wanted. I felt ripped off.

The location doesn't seem like it's setup for U-haul at all. It's an actual gas station, and the guest parking for customers is where the trucks are parked. Only about 4 parking spots and was a little hard to get in with all the other customers driving through getting gas. The service was good though, and they are open on Sundays.

Had issue with misinformed charges...oakland custmer service dept. was very poor in handling the calls....blamed customer for hanging up rather than apologizing...had to call 3 times and still never address the issue.

The email confirmation stated that a person from the pickup location would call me to inform me of the vehicle availability. No contact was made. However, when I clicked on the 'my account' link two days later, it showed a set time to pick up the cargo van on the requested day. Nevertheless, it all went smoothly after that and had a great experience.

Place was good. Uhual the company wasnt. I placed a reservation and went to pick it up and they said they didnt have my name down for a pick up. they told me to call and I find out the reservation was cancelled with out anyone telling me. I asked them why and no one could give an answer as to why it was cancelled. I called to make a reservation at the same location since there was a van right there I wanted to rent. I made a reservation over the phone to ensure I could get the location I originally planned for. I told them on the phone i want this location!!! A couple of minutes later I get a text saying my pick up is ready in a different city!!! I called back and told them I did not want that location. Finally they were able to give me right location an hour later!!! Working with uhual was terrible. They really need to fix their rental location finder. They actual store owner was nice though and made sure once everything was sorted out I had enough time.

The truck was dirty, has some sort of gravel in the back. The employee at the gas station when I picked up the truck was very rude. I ended up paying $47 to have the truck for 3 hours to go 13 miles. I'll probably look at other options and companies next time.

First, this location NEVER ONCE ANSWERED THEIR PHONE!! We called 3 separate days, several times/day. We wanted to confirm the truck availability and pick-up time because my email confirmation from U-Haul stated "location is a preference only". We had to get confirmation from U-Haul customer service (and that rep was very rude to me). Second, we were told no charges would be made to the card, however nothing was mentioned that a "hold for funds" would be put on the card. I made the reservation with my credit card and fully expected to pay for this rental. My brother is the one picking up the truck and using it for his move. They asked my brother for his ATM and promptly put the hold. He has limited funds and this is not acceptable. They should have told him they would hold the funds!!! Third, I have been trying to figure out a way to pay for this on my credit card and NOBODY AT U-HAUL SEEMS TO CARE! Very snippy personnel just saying "no" to every possible solution to the problem. YOU CALL YOURSELF CUSTOMER SERVICE? How about trying to actually help someone. BAD REVIEW, BAD EXPERIENCE, AND I WILL TELL THE TYPICAL "9 PEOPLE" ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE. We will use someone else next time.

The location is a Gas station. it is not a UHall center and if you need other parts are another vehicle, you are out of luck. For my needs on this rental, it was fine.
