A dolly would be very helpful while moving boxes and furniture into the uhauler.

Clean the trucks inside, have the equipment that you reserved they did not nor did they call in advance to let me know. Had to go to another site just to rent a dolly. Didn't have the check in sheet or check out sheets for the damages already on the truck or form to let them know the mileage or gas had to take a picture for my own records . Poor service!

The dolly and the moving pads that I ordered were not available at the location I picked up the truck. The lack of these simple items made the move much more stressful as we were working on a tight time frame. We had to then locate and purchase a dolly and moving pads which pushed our time frame back. Imagine the stress of being stuck in traffic with the minutes dwindling away as you wonder if you will get charged for being late, all due to the location not having the items you ordered.

Better check-in system for small pick up locations. Took almost 20 minutes for person checking out truck to enter the same information I had already entered online. Waste of time. Also, better return option for in-town moves. Very inconvenient to HAVE to return truck to the same location (there is a Uhaul location down the street from where I moved to, but I had to drive the opposite way to return it to where I got it from). Do what's best for the customer, but of course, the more miles the truck is returned with, the more money the customer will need to pay, the more money Uhaul makes.

This was the worst experience possible. I had a confirmed reservation and arrived at the location to find that the reservation had been cancelled. Checking with your customer service, they indicated that my confirmation went out at 8:50AM but the reservation had been cancelled by the dealer at 8:51AM. They were amazingly rude claiming that a reservation never existed. Your Oakland people verified that they still had the truck and reinstated it, but in every regard they were rude beyond belief. The truck was dirty inside. Apparently they don't even inspect trucks. My windshield was damaged, but they didn't know it. When I returned, they asked me to take a picture of the dash rather than verifying the fuel and mileage themselves. The truck had slightly less than full gas when I picked it up but they told me it was just the gauge. When I filled it up on return, the gauge worked fine, meaning that I put in more gas than I used. These people are awful. Your customer support people gave me good service but this location was absolutely the worst. I may rent from U-haul again, but from now on, I will never go to a local dealer if this is what I am to expect.
