At the location when we were checking out the rental the rep rushed through the process. When we returned at 1:30 and attempted the online return for the U-Haul, our contract was incorrect resulting to an incorrect charge. We called into U-Haul customer service and the rep was extremely unhelpful and was trying to get us to pay right away although the charges were incorrect. She said we must pay then file a complaint to the manager with hopes of getting a refund. She didn’t come up with any options and my husband and I were so frustrated that we asked to speak to a manager. And just to note the charges were $100 more than what we agreed to. We were transferred to Kody J and he gave us a better experience and reassured us that we do not have to pay for services that we didn’t receive. And gave us the option to leave U-Haul then arrive at the location when they open to check out and noted they can fix the mistake on site. We sat in the parking lot for a whole hour disputing our contract over the phone and Kody was able to resolve it in 10 minuets, so we left the site at 2:30am. I went back to the site when opened and the rep that checked us out was there and she corrected the mistake. My card was charged and then I was given a receipt I checked the transactions and it was incorrect due to the rate. So the rep refunded my transaction and then recharged my card for the correct amount. The rep was unaware of how long the refund would take. It’s the 3rd business day and I have contacted U-Haul customer service and was given horrible customer service for a simple question. The lady I spoke was plain rude and I just wanted to know how long a refund takes to process. I completely enjoy the U-Haul online check out and return for the quick and speedy service. But having to call in to speak with the customer service representative makes me question if I would recommend it. I have used U-Haul online in the past and it was such a great experience being able to check out and return after hours and I would only recommend the online services.

The location did not have enough space to park the truck which i returned. My car which I had parked in the compound was blocked by another truck. I was stuck for an hour in the night to get it out of there. Eventually they charged me for two days whereas I used the truck only for a day and 25bucks for cleaning which is ridiculous since the truck was cleaned as received. The cup holders of the truck were very sticky. Not cleaned mayb since the day they bought the truck. Completely ridiculous and aweful experience. Will never rent a Uhaul again.



The woman who checked me in was very kind and knew what she was doing. She even went above and beyond for me when I had sort of a major issue. She wad awesome! I will definitely go there again when I need to rent my next truck!

The dealer is great - uhaul sucks - never received a call about a change of the pickup address and when I got there they had the wrong type of vehicle I had rented a truck and ended up with the van.....

The truck had soda pop spilled all over the dash and exterior was dirty as well. The equipment I ordered was not all included either. Very frustrating. I'll be using a different truck rental company next time.



This comment is based on uhaul and not Autoholics. Our overall experience with uhaul in general is truly poor. To the point for our next needs uhaul will not be our first choice of provider. With our original reservation being in Herriman Utah we were truly inconvenienced 12 hours prior to pickup with no truck being available at this location. Then our changed reservation being a location another 30 minutes further away. Once again, your company failed to have a truck, not even a single truck of different size, at this location. Once again changing our pickup location now another 30 mintue drive. This resulting in our move being delayed over 4 hours and 70 miles of aimless driving from location to location. The best resolution of a $50 guarantee and 30 extra miles. There is no acceptance for terrible service or loss of time. Again I will not use your company again.

I set up this rental on U-Haul's website and rented a flat dolly with the truck but upon arrival was told this location doesn't have the dolly I needed. The employee said that their website specifically states they have no dollies yet I saw nothing on U-Haul's site. When scheduling rentals your site should only have the supplies that are actually available at each retailer. I had to order the dolly from another location and pay the $0.99/ mile to drive there and back so that I could move the piano I had rented the truck for.

my pick up time was delayed ...and changed, then when I was suppose to pick it up 5 hours later my truck was not there. I was told I had to drive to draper to get a truck if I wanted one. I was trying to move out of state and was on a deadline, and I was not happy. They did credit me $50 for the trouble.

The fuel charge was not correct. I only used the cargo van for 38 miles. However, I got charge for 5.4 gals. As I told the clerk that the fuel was not at 3/4 when I got the van, which she wrote it on the contract. I returned the van with MORE THAN 1/2 tank, not at 1/2. I'm willing to pay for what I used but not for I don't. Being dishonest is not good for business. The big guy in the shop, who checked the gas level, said to me: to fill the tank up to 3/4 in a gas station that is cheaper. He was completely missing the point. I'm willing to pay for the 2.5 gals that I used at UHaul's rate, not 5.4 gals. Again, I only drove 38 miles! This cargo van should be 16 miles per gallon. I would NOT recommend this shop to anyone.They wanted me to pay for the gas that I didn't use! In fact, I'll NOT using Uhaul in the future. This is the first and last time.
