The two locations so near each other was confusing. Went to one and was sent to the other for packing supplies and then went to the other and was sent back to the first one for the truck.

The trucks fuel was less than half a tank, which cost me time and mileage, and I did not receive an emailed receipt.

The guys who recieved the van were very nice. The young ladies who rented the van to me were extrememely rude. They made fun of me when they thought i wasnt looking, and didnt want to do their job. Im not going back to that location. I appologize for being so direct, but it was not a good experience. I realize they are young, and just kids, but it was very uncomfortable

It was a good experience, except the person who helped me rent the equipment didn't remind me that the location for drop-off was a Metro PCS location. Granted I didn't look too closely at the final location, because I told him only the Zip Code of the drop-off. I thought the location was another U-Haul location in Anaheim, near me on Anaheim Blvd. Upon arriving at the Drop-Off location I became concerned because I saw no U-Haul logo or signage anywhere at the Metro PCS premises, so I was unsure about leaving the vehicle. It wasn't until I called U-Haul Customer Service that they told me that the Metro PCS address was the drop off location. Also, I was unaware - and not informed - of the mileage limit on the rental, as I had to drop off other furniture at another location nearby. So I incurred an additional mileage and was an extra $13+ for it. I would've thought things like this would have been discussed by the employee at the location from which I rented the vehicle.

Everyone there was very helpful and got us going quickly. I needed to upgrade a couple of parts and they knew which parts were needed and put them on for me. Their prices for parts are in-line with other stores or lower. This U-Haul is always my first choice.

You’re associates rented me a trailer that was too large for my vehicle so after loading the trailer I drove back to the location because the vehicle was driving odd and was told the vehicle was too small to tow the trailer. I had to the rent a truck to pull the loaded trailer. I’m not happy about this.

Don't change the pick-up location after the reservation is made! If you don't have a truck available to rent, don't say you are reserving one. I chose to rent with U-haul because it was the closest rental place to where I live. I don't have a car at the moment and changing the pick-up location made it hard for me pick up the truck as well as making me drive an extra 14 miles at $1.08/mile.

Angel, who took care of me at this location, was particularly good. I wasted a lot of time on your website and got timed out and then got switched to another U-haul location in the opposite direction from me when I had already purchased an adapter from the Hollister Ave location. I finally called your 800 number and got a person who listened and quickly solved the problem. I got his name but have lost the sheet of paper I wrote it on. He was very good as was Angel.

Office Computers didn’t work at time if rental and was told to try to use my phone to check out. Eventually, computers worked. No walk around for damage assessment prior to departure.

My poor experience is exclusively due to the price estimate given prior to renting the moving vehicle. When you quote a customer the estimate of $65, but the actual charge is $118 (and no extra driving was done getting from point A to point B and the mileage estimate was done by the person who works as a customer service representative), then the customer has no other feeling than being scammed. Honesty in the price quote would be refreshing. The insurance and additional tax charge should be included in the price quote. I have used Uhaul a number of times over the past year and I feel screwed every time I get the actual charge, but I am very very certain that these comments will fall on deaf ears and discarded immediately. So basically I just wasted my time here.
