The truck was clean. The gas was at 3/8, not 1/2 as stated by U-Haul. When we tried to fill up, the gas cap was broken and needed replacing before leaving Santa Barbara. The customer service told us they would send someone to our location to remedy, but they wouldn’t promise an eta. We finally got ahold of our rental spot and they pushed ( not really interested) us to the U-Haul center north of town. The mechanic tried to repair , but he ended up swapping a cap from another unit. He saved us, as we were stuck in Santa Barbara about 2 hours trying to fix the truck. Response from Ammco lot..subpar. Response from Modoc St. lot..excellent. A safety check on this truck would have gone a long way, obviously they didn’t bother filling with gas as they would have identified the issue before renting.

Too crowded, nowhere to stop or park. Very confusing and difficult.
Wyatt GParking is miserable. No dedicated space for drop offs or pickups. Personnel were exceeding nice and helpful as possible. Check out was easier due to U-Haul app working

james rThe lot was very small and it was difficult to park the truck there. It was closed so there were no personnel there. You should have an "N/A" option for the "Were the personnel helpful?" question but you forced an answer.
