the truck was given to me on E but they did give me a twenty dollar gas credit. It would have been nice if someone would have gone over the basic's of the truck. Windshield was filthy.

With the exception of the agent (probably the mgr), who rented the vehicle to me, the rest of the front office staff lacked a professional demeanor. Lack of eye contact and acknowledgement. Felt like I was at Home Depot. One gentleman who also stood out, was a man shuffling vehicles after hours. The yard was a mess, as renters just left the vehicles stacked up out to the street after hours. This "extremely" responsible (off duty) employee had just been passing by the facility (after 8pm) and took it upon himself to organize the fleet. Very impressed! I brought it up to the same gentleman that checked me in the next day and he genuinely seemed to appreciate the feedback. The owner (behind him) didn't seem to care either way. One thing that was disappointing was the mileage at drop off was charged "one mile" more than I left it....which translates to an extra .99 to the profit margin. How often does this happen?? The vehicle was "average" as far as cleanliness and maintenance.

I reserved a storage unit several days before my move and after I mentioned that I qualified for a free month storage my unit was no longer available. I was sent across the street to a storage place and told it had comparable rates. Actually the rates were double. When I returned to pick up my uhaul truck, I was then told of a less expensive storage place up the street. Too late! The truck was rattling the entire drive and felt like it was going to break down any minute. The dolly was loose and we never used it so I am anticipating an unfair charge even though I told one of the workers. It was a far more stressful experience than I anticipated.

I have never been so extremely upset and stressed in my life. I made reservations months in advance, checked twice on my reservation and told to pick up the truck and car trailer in Petaluma. Then 2 days before, I was told to go to yuba city, then Richmond. The morning I was going to get the truck at 8:00am, I was told at 7:45 am that there was no truck and go to Santa Rosa. The wrong truck and no car trailer. We took a bigger truck since we had no choice as we had to go the next morning. The day we left, I got a text that our truck and trailer were ready in Petaluma. Too late!!!! We needed the truck the day before. I was promised a two hundred dollar discount and did not see it yet on my credit card bill. I had so carefully planned my move months in advance, and I was going scared to drive myself for two days thru three states with my animals in the heat. I have always used uhaul, but never again

Cab was super smoky (cigarettes). This was the only 17'left and I had no options. Really unpleasant and unhealthy to breathe that stench. Maybe you can charge folks who have to smoke while U-Hauling. This was a short-term rental. No Smoking should be stressed. There were no signs on p/u. UHaul dropped the ball on this item.

Excellent customer service. I was surprised that going 2 days before - to reserve there were no one truck available. I ended getting a van which was in perfect conditions but I had to make two trips leading to a higher used millage-and higher bill.

We order a 20' truck for 12 hrs a week prior to pick up. Upon arrival, only a 17' truck was available and the staff was insisting that we drop it off in 8hrs. With a smaller truck we had to do two runs which added to time and mileage. It was a very disappointing experience with Uhaul

The only problem we encountered was difficulty getting the back door of uhaul to come down far enough to clamp and close it. We were making sure nothing was in the way of the door or its tracks. We managed to make it work after about 20 minutes. It may be good to regrease tracks on the truck we used.

Was not checked back in when I arrived at 4:15pm with the trailer. One person working outside and was too busy so he had me put the trailer out back and said he would check it in later, charge the card on file and email a receipt. 24 hours later, two phone calls and one trip back to the facility, it still had not been checked in properly. This should never be allowed to happen. It is a waste of your customers time and puts both of us at risk. Very bad business practice, during store hours. After hours, I can see but not during regular hours. How could three additional people not see the next day offer me a receipt but not see that it was not even checked in. Definitely need some more training of staff.

worst experience ever. lights did not work and was unable to switch out with another due to the fact that car was unable to be started and had to be pushed up onto trailer. I was on a tight sched and could not drive safely at night. Had anything happened you would have been in big lawsuit. I should get a big credit on rental. Also this trailer did not caster well with car on it and this made trailering difficult. Overall very poor service. Mentioned the problems at drop off shop and the only response was ok and short "sorry".

I reserved a 20' truck a week before I needed it. When I went in to pick it up I was told that it was in Spokane!? I was practically forced to take a 15' truck. The man who helped me didn't seem to know what he was doing as it took forever to get all the paperwork done. When we brought the truck back we were told how much I was going to be charged. I checked my bank online a few hours later and there were two holds for nearly 4 TIMES the amount that I was originally told!! I went back to the uhaul store and talked to Brandon. He figured out what went wrong and immediately reversed the charges and after getting off the phone recharged me the correct amount I owed. I have rented trucks from this location multiple times and this has been by far the worst experience.
