Not much. The process was simple and quick. He had the paperwork done as I finished connecting the trailer. Drop off was easy ANF simple. It was an in and out day for a quick use of equipment.

The problem we had was the store was supposed to open at 8:30 and the person did not get there till almost 9:00AM That made all the people we had waiting for us off schedule. I had a doctors appointment and I was late for that. I understand problems happen but someone should be able to override the phone to answer and say they are late or maybe not coming at all. I was not happy about rushing the rest of the time.

Water leak in cab when it poured rain, I don't think it was known to Compass Storage employee(s) and I called to let them know about the issue, apology offered and guarantee the issue will be repaired for next customer.

Nothing needs improvement! Rob, the General Manager, could not have been more helpful. This is the only U-Haul location I would recommend. Others I have used can not compare to the overall quality that I experienced.

The office had closed before it's posted time and I was there at exactly 6pm. However, the man there told me he was closed, to drop the key in the box and all is well in the u-haul world. My thanks to all for a stress-less day.

Lot very tight when pulling in - many other trucks outside storage facility gates in shared parking area with general business parking and coming in off busy four lane road. Informed attendant about break lights on car trailer not functioning. Did not seem overly concerned and indicated he would put a work order in for the repair. Returned truck on Saturday, 7/1/2017 but did not receive receipt for return until today, 7/6/2017 with a check in date of 7/3/2017 on the receipt. Seemed very busy and short staffed.

The truck was dirty inside, light in the back of the truck was broken. I called numerous times to confirm my order and it just rang, only to receive a text confirmation for an hour after my original requested time. Was not told equipment had to be back by a specific time in the day until AFTER I sat down to sign documents. So I rearranged my schedule to accommodate so I wasn't overcharged because on a one way they give you 2 days and we were loading and driving across the state. Or so we thought...that was until we tried to start the truck to make the drive at midnight and the truck had a dead battery. After trying to call and reach someone, I find a spot on the paper that tells you, you have to go online to request roadside assistance. And the best house is boxed up in the back of the truck, we have no internet connection! So now we will be late arriving, which means we lose our hotel and our move-in spot but do not get reimbursed because it's not their fault. I explain ALL of this to the uhaul customer service reps I speak to, all 5 because I have to continuously speak to different departments and they can't transfer, you have to call them individually, while driving across state. Best part is they all tell me the same thing..if you want reimbursement, contact the rental location you made the original reservation with, I've tried 3 times to call in a matter of 5 hours. Every single time it just rings and rings. I ended up paying over $200 for a rental that cost me over $200 for a hotel room I couldn't utilize, $250 for my move-in fee that I won't get back. Thanks uhaul, I will never use this company again, ever!

They rented me a car trailer and 26'truck 2 days prior to my schedule. But they didn't have the proper trailer there to laid my car. My car was too wide for the old trailer they had left. This caused major problems and will have to fly 1200 miles back to Sarasota and then drive the vehicle back to Indiana. A lot of extra money and a lot of extra time. Very disappointed in the ignoring the disclaimer about my car. A new uhaul trailer would have worked. They let me down even after checking ahead of time. They also tried to charge me for a two wheel dolly that I didn't rent.

The truck had less than a quarter tank of gas when I picked it up, which I was made aware of, but that meant I had to take time out of my move to stop at the gas station first. It rained heavily and the cab of the truck leaked water down my back as I drove. The brake pads on the truck needed to be replaced as well. When I got back to the rental location to drop off the key, the key drop box was broken and completely open. I was forced to decide between leaving the key in a location where it could be easily taken by anyone or to wake up early the next day and bring the key back in the morning. I decided to not risk having the truck stolen, so after a long day of moving I had to get up early before work the next day to drive back out to the rental location and drop off the key. The guys working at the location were friendly but the trucks and facility are not maintained well at all.

At the last minute I received a call telling me that my trailer would not be at the location I reserved. I had to drive an additional 20 miles or so to a storage facility that rents trailers instead of the full-service U-Haul facility where I always rent. The man running the storage place did the paperwork and asked me if I knew how to hook up the trailer. I assumed I was, but I had never used a trailer with the automatic braking system and as I was reading the directions for hooking it up, the man came out and asked if I needed help figuring it out. We got it hooked up and he stood behind me and checked the trailer lights before I left. The normal U-Haul facility I use always hooks the trailer up and ensures that the lights work before I go. Also, the trailer I rented had one tire that registered no pounds of air and I had to stop and fill it up to 42 pounds.

I was disappointed with the service where I pick the car dolly up at Floride St. Sarasota, the man gave me the wrong car dolly and charge me for his mistake, plus charged me twice. Which he said he would refund me the the money, and I would only be charged the one $63.14, but I was charged $193.67 & $63.14. That is wrong and it was his mistake and I should not be penalized for his mistake. I will not recommended that location to anyone. Thank you Darlene Presha
