I was supposed to get this setup in the Wilkes-Barre, PA location, but was sent to the Scranton, PA location for it, because of issues with having what was promised to me at this location. Big inconvienence. Then, I was charged $100 more than what I was quoted by phone. Very disappointed with everything mentioned here. But at least the trip went well otherwise. I will keep all the negatives in mind next time I need to rent. Might just pass instead.

Experienced a pretty big hassle. With this rental. Had to revise the pickup/dropoff locations twice before getting a place that worked with where we were traveling. I entered on location for pickup, got a confirmation, then an email that said the location was different. Finally got one that worked, then found out from the app that my location had changed to a place 20 minutes out of our way. The guy at the desk suggested I call the 800 number. I hopped in the truck and called while I drove. The customer service rep told me she tried to credit me 40 miles, but couldn't because I was already in transit. She suggested talking to the desk rep at the location when I returned the truck. If they couldn't help me, I should call the 800 number again and explain. She said she put a note on my account reflecting the situation. When I dropped off the truck, the guy that checked it said he was surprised I was bringing it back, as that specific kind of truck was usually a one-way rental, picked up at one location and dropped off at another, which of course added frustration. I've got a pregnant wife, a 2 year old, a new house 40 minutes away from this location, and precious little.time to spend on anything other than moving in. This put a dent in our day. I'm already in contact with Customer Service, and am hoping you guys can help me out a bit, I'm not ok with paying for double the mileage I needed to drive, along with the lost time and extra money spent on gas.

Customer service is inadequate. I received a phone call today 4 days after I returned the trailer, that I didn't return the trailer, and got charged out of my account for 4 days... instead of contacting me the very next day when I allegedly did not return your equipment, you just Continued to renew the lease and keep charging... instead of checking...

Comments are only for drop off. Horrible when it comes to booking a vehicle. I called on 10/24 to reserve vehicle and they said they would call the day before. I received no call, so I called the morning of pickup and I was told that the reservation was never made. I Had to call and go to 5 different Uhauls to get a truck. One in Harmony NJ was supposed to have a truck but rented it out without a contract. The man was downright rude as was his other employee. They had the door locked! It was a terrible experience and as I said before, there is a major disconnect with your company. I don't know how you're still in business. Will never use Uhaul again.

The only thing is that we had to go back to the Uhaul center for the blankets for the furniture. The staff should ask when checking out if we did need anything else last minute for the order.

There's really not to much I can say, personnel was very courteous friendly it well knowledgeable, other equipment that I was using. Explain all the rules and regulations concerning U-Haul rental. The agreement from what I can see what self-explanatory 26-foot truck well maintained drove well interior exterior was in good condition. In the job was completed without failure and yes I will recommend U-Haul two other individuals if they ever need something to rent and looking for a place that is courteous and kind. First of all the address posted was wrong as the location has changed to across the street. Kind of frustrating as it is a tight city area where moving a truck and trailer is difficult with the traffic and busy intersection. We never interacted with the staff. We dropped the truck and trailer off and waited in line with other folks returning there vehicles. After 10 minutes of waiting we went inside and were told we were at the wrong desk and we needed to go around the building. Having done that we were instructed to wait by the vehicle. After 20 minutes of waiting we left the truck and trailer under the return canopy and went on our way. It was 11:15 am. When I went online to use the after hours return, I was unable to do that as the website said the rental had been cancelled and there was no way to check the vehicle return. The only response I received was the emailed receipt two days later. All in all, not a good experience.

Not well defined as to what lot you would go to (there are 3) when you reserve a vehicle. Customer service is in the back, I think it would better serve the public if it was in the front, or at least in the middle of the store. Other than that, excellent employees and since this was my first time renting, excellent service.
