Need a pick-up truck in the wallis location. one question about clean. one question about well maintained.

Extremely poor situation all around. First location no one was there. Had to scramble to find another place. Truck box was filthy. Went to turn it in and no one was there. Second location was non existent and the third location tried to charge me an extra 90 dollars for being late.


Have someone other the the store cashier deal with the uhauls

We have 3 different charges for rental of this trailer. Were way over charged. Am going to have to call main #. #1 original quote for $93.15 #2 pickup charge for $88.00 to Amer Ex card #3 drop off charge for $66.00 to Amer Ex card

Store owner handed me the paperwork and said the trailer was out in the lot to go get it. Trailer was a POS! but I needed one. Loaded vehicle and 20 miles later, flat tire. Service number given to me was wrong. Finally got in touch with your roadside repair folks and it took them 45 minutes to find a repair shop 4 miles away. Guy arrived with a damaged rim spare and a poor condition tire. Said "that's all they would give him". Had to abandon my trip as the shop closed. Next morning replaced tire was flat!! I filled the tire with air (had my own compressor) and finally made it to my destination. Upon returning the trailer, I explained to the shop owner what had happened. He called Uhaul and handed me the phone. The girl on the other end offered me $16 for my troubles. I told her UHaul needed it more. Was scheduled to return to Tiger Mart @ 105 Meyers Street in Sealy, TX on Sunday at 12:00 noon because he wasn't going to be open until then (spoke with him Saturday evening but couldn't drop off then because he was closing in 15 minutes and could not make it before he closed). He was not there when truck was taken in Sunday. There was no Drop Box whereby we could have dropped off earlier. Had to drop off at above location and resulted in additional charge because past 24 hr leeway. Extra chage eventually refunded.

Even though I 'checked-in' ahead of time online with the express checkin, it still took some time for this location to input info, take pictures of DL and hookup, etc.

The people in charge of helping rent or dropping off your uhual are completely uneducated on everything about the renting experience. We spent way over the amount I feel like we should or that my dad recently spent on the same truck size. We will never use uhual again.

It was ridiculous trying to return the uhaul. The location that we live in was closed so we had to drive 20 miles out of the way to one that was opened. When called the 1 800 number they stated we had to go to one that was open.

Clerk was having issues with computer and uhaul website. I filled out info for rapid pick up and it still took more than 30 minutes to get on the road.
