The girl at the desk with nose piercings and tattoos was very rude while returning the vehicle. She was trying to tell me I was lying when I pulled up at 5:45pm and didn’t want to do her job so she could leave early. She was very unprofessional. I own my own company and that was intolerable behavior for an employee when I was just trying to hand her keys ! I did the rest of the work in the app. This was at 918 S Horton St Ste 1513 Seattle, WA. Then when she walked outside she told me to try to be on time when I had been outside for a half hour ! I am not happy at all. As she walked out to her car I was throwing something away and she had a lot of words to say outside of th store.

Amelia C(1) When a customer reserves furniture pads make sure you have them. Don't send them off on a wild goose chase to other uhaul locations to hunt for them unassisted (with the customer burning their time, and paying for the miles and fuel). (2) Make it clear on your website reservations that the equipment a customer is reserving is equipped with a ramp (or isn't). That was a fun surprise. (3) Have the equipment ACTUALLY inspected before a customer arrives to pick it up so you can assure the cargo area is truly clean and ready for the next customer. (4) Make sure equipment self return processes are clearly explained and there is a secure drop box for the keys to be left. Oh, and when the customer calls attempting to find said secure key drop box make sure your phone system works and isn't cutting them off or dropping their calls for assistance. It shouldn't take eight call attempts to finally get through and speak to someone. (5) Treat your employees well and give them a good environment to work in so their ambivalence and indifference doesn't tarnish your brand.
