Mixed- it is the closest option by far so I continue to return as a renter moving over the last decade. Either there are no trucks or a major issues— once with a truck confirmed yet the key wasn’t in the lock box for after hours pickup. No $50 credit was given, just extra trips in the middle of chaos and paying workers by the hour waiting for the a truck that was to be there in the morning, not arriving. This latest issue was over a ‘tic’ above 7/8 for fuel. I was charged $11 dollars for 1 gallon with a 7/8 full tank— with a gauge, not digital. When I called upon getting the email, Kevin said it needed to be a “tic” over 7/8! Kevin wouldn’t give me his last name nor his initial when asked multiple times so he could identified in an escalation letter— though he has access to my personal and financial information. Earlier that morning when I dropped off the truck he asked if I needed a receipt— my reply, yes. His, then it will be a while as my guys is in the back doing something. I had to get to work. Then he said I could leave it, big mistake. I now have to fight his assertion of the condition of the truck. I will go back to Santa Rosa Ave location, wildly less convenient, more time and charges (milage and gas) yet they always have trucks and in 2 truck rentals never this level of poor customer service and agony in dealing with a rental truck— not what you want on top of the demands of moving in the middle of a work week. I wish this location was reliable, had trucks consistently, and was not nefarious.
