My husband went to return the Uhaul, and he stopped to get gas next door to the Uhaul location in Sherwood (literally right next door). When he went to turn the vehicle back on, the battery died. He walked over to Uhaul to ask them what he needed to do (and see if they could just check it back in since it's so close). The female employee working at the time was incredibly rude to my husband and insisted that regardless of where the vehicle is, customers have to call for roadside assistance to get help. When he finally got a hold of someone, he was told it would be over an hour before someone would arrive. Instead of volunteering to let my husband pay and leave, he had to sit at the gas station (literally 100 feet from the Uhaul store) to wait for someone to jump the vehicle. When I called to ask what could be done, I was told there was nothing they could do because they didn't have the equipment to jump it. The employee still didn't offer to let my husband pay and leave. When roadside assistance finally arrived it was a man in a regular pick up truck, just like the employee I talked to at Uhaul. He didn't have any special equipment. He also arrived about 15 to 20 min after he said. After 45 minutes of charging the vehicle was still dead. I called Uhaul again and asked if there was anyway they'd let him just pay and leave because at this point he'd been there over 2 hours. The male employee who answered the phone said he could do that. He let my husband pay and leave, and he gave us a generous discount for his trouble. I appreciate the discount, but the customer service up to that point was unacceptable.

I ordered my rental that afternoon. I have a 50$ off voucher that i tried to redeem at this location. I was told when i returned my rental that night to write down my vehicular identification number and my name and turn it into the drop box. I was assured that when my contracted was assessed and closed the following day, that the 50$ off certificate would reflect on my charged balance. When i received my final invoice, i noticed that the 50$ off was not applied. I called the location and still have not been contacted about the discrepancy. This has been an ongoing problem when i rent from Uhaul. I am in the military and i have always used Uhaul for my relocations. I am very disappointed in the service i have been receiving. I have always expected and received stellar service in the past. Every customer matters. I hope this doesn't change my future outlook on utilizing Uhaul rentals in my immediate future. I trusted the attendant when I was told that the tank was full when in fact it had less than a quarter of a tank of gas. Also, I was told that they would give me some help with a problem issuing from a prior Uhaul rental and would email me when they got some information. To date I have received nothing from them.

I have rented 3 20' trucks and auto transport trailers in 3 months from this location to move my family 2000 miles west. Mr. Ray Derden and his staff worked hard to accomodate my needs, make sure I had the safest trip possible, and make my move as affordable as possible. I am grateful to Mr. Derden and his staff and would highly recommend them. Thanks to U-haul for having outstanding, clean and safe equipment.

The woman was as snotty as the day is long, has a very poor attitude, or at least toward me she did. I put more gas than necessary in the truck for return & still got charged for gas! When I rented the truck, the lady put extra miles on the contract & still got charged for extra miles! Pricing & return locations are not up to good customer service feedback so I won't use U-Haul again, I'll look for a different company to use.

The truck was not available for pick up on the initial reserved day. We were delayed 24 hours because of this. The dolly we reserved was also not available. We were forced to purchase a dolly from the dealer. Shady business tactics at best.

Staff & truck is horrible. Rented a 17' box truck for 4 hours & fought to keep it between the lines-needs alignment or new tires. And hire pleasant respectful employees. She was rude and not professional at all. Acted mad as soon as I walked up to the counter. I inquired about boxes & only got yes/no answers without letting me know the choices. Barely looked me in the eyes & acted as though I should be able to read her mind. While processing my order, she answered the phone in my face. I work with the public daily & her attitude was not what I would expect from your company. She made it obvious I was a number to her, not a customer. When I returned truck, only words man said to me was Cash or Charge? When I said charge, he said "you can go". No hello, was everything ok, have a nice day, or thank you for your business? You must have the monopoly in our area to treat paying customers like I was treated today.

The only lights that worked on the auto transport we rented were the brake lights and turn signals. The tail lights didn't work and we were using it after dark which made for a dangerous situation, we were told that the trailer had been inspected and that everything was in working order at the time of rental. We also rented a pickup truck to tow the trailer with so it was all equipment from this location. The windshield of the pickup was filthy and made it difficult to see when driving. When we returned the equipment I informed the manager about the lights on the trailer not working and he was fairly rude saying "do you mean to tell me that the lights on a BRAND NEW truck with a BRAND NEW plug do not work". Overall this location gave UHaul a black eye and I definitely will not rent from this location or possibly from UHaul again.

The location my initial order was placed for was not even open. I was never called by a representative before hand. The Kiehl location apologies for the Marshall stores lack of business. I was assured that Uhaul would compensate me 50$ for me not meeting my guareenteed experience and having to drive to another city to pick up my rental.

Better attention to check out of vehicles. I had two different 15 foot trucks. The first had a bad vibration once I started driving it. Then The rear tire blow out. The the second truck had a rear door that got stuck in the full open position and door seal that was hanging that allowed a lot of noise from highways to come into the cab. Then I was surprise that as I turned in the truck it was immediately rent out to another customer without going through any type of thorough check out.

The lady working the counter on my day of pickup was very unprofessional. After I had paid for my rental and signed all paperwork, I asked if the straps, etc was all in good shape. What I got for my trouble was a very non-verbal eye roll. I asked her what her problem was and she replied "Guess I'm tired". When hooking up to the carrier, there were no lights on one side, I wound up being issued another trailer.
