Not to the fault of the location staff: I was given the choice to rent a 9' van from Uhaul website, but it was not available when I arrived at the location. I had to rent a much larger vehicle as the only equipment available, because I was unable to change locations by the time I arrived

The vehicle's engine, transmission seems to be in need of an overall. A couple of times when I turned off the engine the power would not shut down, as evidenced from the dashboards systems. The Transmission has seen some better days. On the customer service side of things, I couldn't had asked for a better professional, customer forward experience.

JAIRUS BThe Uhaul Van was dirty, the clerk didn't come out to confirm the condition of the van when I went to check it out, but he certainly made time to come out when I returned it. Other small things irked me... I used the Uhaul APP to show that the van was dirty when I received it, and I made sure to uncheck the box (that is already checked as clean) when you get to the van audit section in the APP. God help anyone that doesn't do a thorough inventory through the APP! You'd probably get stuck with an unfair cleaning charge! It also took 20 minutes for the APP to accept my input as it kept dropping the online connection! Before I returned the van, I did my best to clean out the sand and other stains that I didn't put in there, because I don't return things dirty, even if I was not responsible for the mess. Uhaul didn't pay more or give me a discount for my extra work. I also put extra gas in the tank, because it's hard to return things at half a tank, because you don't know when those gas-guzzlers are at half tank.
Sharon JThis was the worst experience I’ve ever had with U-Haul and I hate having to deal with this bs from you guys no where did it tell me that I had to bring it back to the shoreline location long story short I feel it was handled poorly I will continue being a customer with U-Haul in hopes of a better future experience. The regional manager of shoreline was very kind and did help handle the situation.
