When we returned the truck to this location we asked if the fuel level was where they wanted it, as it was closer to 1/4 tank than 3/8 tank, and offered to put another gallon or two in if it needed it. The person there told us as long as it was over 1/4 tank it was fine, and told us he’d email us the receipt. When the receipt came through, he had charged our credit card $6.80 to add a little more fuel. While this was a small amount considering the overall bill, it’s the principle of the matter that the person at this Smithfield store was not honest.

Shorten the wait time. I completed telephone reservation and had to go through process again at rental location.

While I was grateful to have two locations close by, I was disappointed that I wasn't able to get the vehicle I had originally reserved for and was told I would have to get it from another location not close to me. Maybe consider bring vehicle reserved to the location of the customers choice, if not already there.

uhaul corp was problem, vehicle had a bad tire that needed to be replaced, was suspose to be there on THursday to fix, came with incorrect tire, then to be there on Friday, no show or call. Ended up having to fill tire numerous times during the rental period. also the molding around the front windshield was loose and flapped on the top of the cab of the truck.

I had issues dropping the uhaul off out of state . I called this Smithfield location ( that's where I brought it from , dropped off in NC ) the location I was dropping it off at was having difficulties, so I called Smithfield location 15 mins before closing , we got disconnect at 5 due to bad service ... I tried calling back it went straight to voicemail BUT the Smithfield owner of uhaul went out his way to send me and email having the information that the drop off location needed , also left me an voicemail saying he was willing to stay longer to help me out ... when I say this is a great location , that it was !!!!!
