I would not recommend using U-Haul to anyone. We had a reservation for pick up in a location by our house and I was alerted it had moved to somewhere 30 minutes away. I do not understand why U-Haul allows you to book a specific truck, time and location if it is not available? I had my pickup location moved closer to our secondary location we were moving to that day and when we arrived at our reservation time the truck was unavailable. The previous renter dropped off 15 minutes before our pick up time and left with out the key. Why would the U-haul associate not check out the customer and collect the key? Why wouldn't there be a second set of keys for every truck? It was a disaster booking with U-Haul and I will never do it again.

I paid for furniture pads but never got them - they were not on the truck and the employee did not advise me to pick any up before going to my truck. I was told to return the truck with more than 1/4 of a tank of gas, which I did, but was charged a fuel surcharge anyway.

Uhaul website was easy to use. I was able to reserve the trailer I wanted, i showed up at the appointed time, the trailer was ready, it performed perfectly, I returned the trailer and there were no issues. What more could a person want?

Facility provided to me a 15' truck and was supposed to have a dolly in the back of the truck. Employee pulled truck up, handed me the keys and sent me on my way. When I got to my loading location, there was no dolly in the truck. I called the facility, and they said ensured they would remove the charge for the dolly. I turned the truck in that evening and dropped the keys in the box since the location was closed. The next day, I received an email copy of my charges and I was still charged for the dolly. I had to call U-Haul and wait on hold for a total of 20 minutes to get the dolly charge removed.

Inside cab drink holders were filthy. The person, I believe it was the GM, was not very customer service oriented. Not too engaging. The two gentlemen that received my truck back in were great!



Spent over 20 min on hold to find drop off location. Agent said she sent me the info via text and email but it only had the pick up location.

We been your customer for almost 40 years. And we never had any problem with your Stamford and Danbury location. The young lady who checked me in was interested in smiling at her coworker rather than offering "decent" customer service. Any question I asked was bothersome for her. I had to do a quick move and will move again in 2 months. Will definitely go with another location or company.

I spoke with Yvonne on Friday (training center). I needed a hand truck/dolly. She put me down for one. When I got to south Cobb parkway, they did not have any. Better training when it comes to equipment.

I’m not sure if it was someone from this site I spoke to about what size truck to rent but the truck was too small. Also, if you decide to do a 4 hour window be sure it’s enough time or you could have to pay $100. (Although they didn’t charge us for being 5 minuets late). The girl I talked to rent the equipment was not talked did not explain things thoroughly to us. She didn’t seem knowledgeable. The movers they recommend (through their their site)were an hour late and didn’t do a good job.

While this location and staff were very nice, it is awful that this was a thirty minute drive from my originally reserved drop off location. If a drop off location is not available, it should not be made available when making the reservation. I’ve had a horrible experience with U-Haul overall on this move and will never use their services again.

The return process was horrible because the credit card was swiped and billed three times. We had to return to the location and wait for over two hours trying to resolve the matter, The person at the counter blamed the updated system, but, I think it was him. Never had this issue at previous location. The movers left early and placed items in others rooms instead of the truck.... I will use Uhaul for small needs in the future, but, not major moving.

Nit happy i was told that there wasba vehicle for me at ine location and when i got there there was ni rental when i called back call center i was apologized to and was told i would get a 50.00 gurantee on my rental. They found me another vehicle across town i picked up from that location and was told they did not kniw anything about a 50.00 guarantee of my rental.

I was pushed around to about 4-5 different stores then was made to drive 13 miles (20 min) just to pick up a truck I was promised weeks before at a much closer location. I have to constantly keep calling to confirm then would be told nope I was being moved AGAIN. almost didn't have a truck to move, had to track down a reserved dolley at yet another location
