There were small roaches in the truck! I sprayed to kill them. The staff was great in the rental process given that I was originally scheduled at another location that failed to leave a key for the equipment!!!! Consequently my move was 1 1/2 hours later than I planned.

Please get rid of the impersonal and misdirected U-Haul system. This location and Stephanie were wonderful. However, the policies, practices and procedures of corporate U-Haul actually rob the local locations of providing the personal service (prior to pick up) that I remember the company once to provide. Also, put more practices in place to ensure renters who do not return or ultimately steal vehicles are prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. Thanks to Stephanie for providing excellent service while being the only staffer on duty amidst a crazy and busy Saturday.

Young lady was working by herself customer was coming in. She said she couldn’t assist us unless we had reservations. she says she Could not find keys to trucks that was parked on the lot. So I left and made reservations by phone and returned. She still said same thing but eventually found keys to some trucks. Yes Extra equipment like dolly and furniture carts was unavailable. Customers cars was blocked in when trying to leave property due to trucks being parking anyway. Her level of customer service was ok but she could have used some help.

There was one person working when I returned my truck. There was barely any room for me to pull in the lot. My car got blocked in by a truck. It seemed pretty chaotic

The customer service was good at first. After recovering the truck I realized it was a mistake. The truck barley made it up hills and sounded like it was going to die. The Ac stopped working 3 times along the way and the truck had issues shifting. When reported to the gentleman that checked the truck back in I was told sorry and the total of my bill.

Absolutely the most dismal retail or customer service experience I have had in my life, bar none. Bear in mind while reading that I’m a full time student whose apartment lease expired on July eighth. It was paramount that I have my possessions gone by that day at 10 am, or face multiple high fees for cleaning, storage and disposal. I have personally used uhaul twice in the last four years and you all have been sterling, but this experience disgusted and jaded me against the responsibility and integrity of your business. I submitted a reservation for a 10’ truck at the second Smyrna location, to be picked up at 8:30. I received a call shortly before I was actually supposed to pick up the truck notifying me that the equipment would have to be picked up at the 5285 S Cobb Drive Location. This is understandable. However, once I arrived there and attempted to check the truck out via the uhaul mobile software, I received an error message notifying me that I have no open reservations at this location. It is now after business hours, and I have no truck and no concrete way of rectifying the issue with anyone. I immediately called uhaul customer service, to be greeted by the least helpful representative I have ever had the misfortune to speak to. I was essentially told “we’re (Uhaul) sorry, but the manager at the location will handle the issue”. The fact that the storefront was closed didn’t phase him. I happened to look into the window to see an older gentleman finishing paperwork, so I approached and hung up from customer service. I noticed the door was open, so I asked if I could kindly have a word. He didn’t so much as look up at me. A younger woman walked from the back notifying me that they were closed for the evening. I practically plead with her to hear what was going on, while the older gentleman just glared at me. Yes, glared. Pppppppppppp

Horrible experience. Trailer given to us was not functional. I had to unload and reload all items packed by a crew into a new trailer at a different location by myself causing me to miss an important event. I complained to 1800Uhaul and was told to expect a call from the manager which was never received.



The truck on the paperwork was not the one received. Mileage was not recorded correctly so I was over charged. I came to turn in the truck and even though the door was propped open I was yelled at and told the store was closed after I said I had concerns about the dispute in the paperwork and to put the keys in the bin. Will never rent from uhaul at this location if any.

Investigate managers who take upon them self to rob customers by adding additional days in the rentals,putting false notes in system saying they've called the customer about overdue rentals. Very upsetting
