The truck was on empty when I picked it up. In addition the people working in the Uhual/oil change business were not helpful at all. I called customer service and was not able to talk to anyone because I was on hold for 45 mins. Horrible customer service. We only rented a truck to deliver PPE to first responders...

1. It would be nice to pick up a truck with more than 1/8 tank of gas in it. 2. The truck was not clean inside or out. The wiper blades were really dirty as well, which made driving during rain difficult. I quick clean of the blades at a gas station helped.

The truck was very bumpy driving. I rented a 20' and got a 26'. Very big. I was told to drop off on Monday, but got charged more because I was not told by what time.

Location is great for South Haven. Service was friendly and very efficient. Locale is part of an oil change business. It is not bad but not as neat or professional as if it were more of a dedicated moving or U-haul place.

I needed to change my pickup date and time. I had to call the 800 number as the location was unable to help me. I would have preferred to do it on your website but it doesn't seem to have that capability.

When I got there, there was only one person doing rentals and oil changes so I had to leave and come back fifteen minutes later because he was doing an oil change. While I don't mind waiting my turn, and it wasn't his fault, it was a big inconvenience for me since I had to get on with my agenda. I am also not happy with the way you advertise things. It sounds like you can rent for a reasonable price but then different charges keep being added on. If I return it in the same condition as when I left, I think the insurance fee should be refunded! And since you charge a mileage fee, you shouldn't also be charging for gas. And an environment all fee? Good grief. And then tax.

You can start by fixing that Third World Country mobile check in process. Got a message saying you didn't recognize the device I was using so I needed to get a code sent to my email address. Hit the dam send button 5 times and never got the code. After 20 minutes of waiting we went inside for assistance. About an hour later the dam codes showed up in my email. Really upset about the mobile process, was a big waste of time. In the future I'll just check in at the counter.


Ordered a 24/7 rental by phone so I could pick up the truck prior to the store opening. I even double checked. Didn't work. Sat for an hour till doors opened. Store manager very unfriendly. He kept blaming company, repeating it wasn't his fault.

I couldn't complete the mobile check in (after repeated attempts). I would just get looped back to the login screen after the confirm screen. The store took care of it for me but that meant I had to go in the location and then the $14 insurance was administered even though I declined it. Not cool uhaul!
