Employee just took the keys and said he would send me an email- never looked at the unit. Then I get a $13 invoice (with a threatening $30 penalty if I don't pay in 2 weeks) after several days and my pleading with UHaul over email to send me some acknowledgement of receipt of the unit. I was starting to think I handed the keys to some guy who just took the unit and never checked it in. I paid the invoice despite disagreeing with the "gas" level being one notch short. Also, no credit or benefit of having the unit returned one day early. Very challenging transaction- glad it's over. Painful!

I told the guy at pick up not to take the money off my credit card as I was gonna pay with debit, at drop off I didnt get my 25% discount and it was already paid with my credit card at pick up. Very dsiappointed. I get a uhaul at least 5 or 6 times a year..not good.

Trailer was mechanically very run down and filthy. Upon further inspection after I had picked it up (and was told it was all fine) found that the left rear turn signal wasn't working. We needed to remove the previously (and very poorly done) crimp connections and install new ones. The trailer may be older than I am... Furniture pads were dirty, stained and smelled heavily of motor oil. Representative was rude and condescending.

YOUR WEBSITE IS TERRIBLE. WE RETURNED OUR VEHICLE AFTER-HOURS: WE WERE ON THE WEBSITE FOR OVER 45 MINUTES AND IT DID NOT LET US CHECK IN THE TRUCK: FORTUNATELY DAVID FROM UHAUL CAME BY THE STORE EVEN THOUGH HE WAS OFF AND HELPED US! David is GREAT! Your website is AWFUL when it comes to checking back in to drop off a vehicle. You must change your website for drop off after hours or you will lose customers. We wasted almost an hour because your website would not acknowledge our location in spite of us sitting in your parking lot immediately outside your store. Your employees are great and David saved the day for us!

I reserved a truck through corporate representative from on-line phone number. I received confirmation for pick up in South Haven, MI. When I went for the truck , they had no reservation and with Memirial Dat weekend there wasn’t a truck available. I rent a truck for two night every month April - September for my antique show business. I’m VERY upset.
