I had a scheduled pickup date for November 30th on a Sunday. They first texted me the day before I had to pick up that I had to pick up from a different location because the equipment wasn’t available at the one I chose, they even added more covered miles for the inconvenience. Then when arrived that morning on the 30th at the U-Haul place I was in the phone with a scheduling manager by the name of Landon and yes he was trying to be helpful I was still incredibly screwed over by U-Haul. I was not told before that because I had a reservation for a truck and a tow dolly for my car that someone from U-Haul had to hook it up. The 30th was a Sunday. It was closed. Landon tried to look at me going to another facility but they were all closed if they didn’t have the equipment I needed. I had to change all my plans to come back the next day when they opened. This included changing my work schedule when I’m starting a new job, friends and family had to come back and help for a second time costing me more money and gas to get said help. They did refund a small portion of the money which I do appreciate but honestly with how bad I got screwed over with the whole situation I wish it was more. Guess U-Haul just can’t afford it but they definitely are losing a lot of customers over this. Absolute poor communication on their end and I wasn’t happy with the result. 👎🏻

KATHY BAgain, I am so lucky to have encountered two exceptional and professional representatives when I returned my rental. I unloaded a 20 foot trunk alone. I was running a bit behind schedule and after explaining my situation to the representatives, they gave me the extra time I needed in order to unload my truck and return it within a time frame in which I would not be penalized. This team knew their business and their social and customer skills were second to none. I would recommend this team to anyone.
