This will be the first time im ever writing a review ... i was repeatedly harassed and annoyed by the truck rental location that i got the rental from .. every day they would call me and Demand ,verry rudely that i return the truck.. ?.At first i calmly attempted to explain ,that ,no ,i am not returning the truck today ,i have extended the rental online in a live chat session. Here is the confirmation number ,as well as a transcript of the chat log with the uhaul rep,all of wich were date /time stamped ... but this guy was a poncho or something. This went on for 5 days .. daily. . I now am refusing to pay the bill that i have of 246.00.. im filing a compliant and may. File a counter suit for the 246 , plus punitive ..

I rented a 15 ft truck after they didn’t have the one I wanted, I asked the lady if I could leave it in the parking space where it was originally at for about 20 min so my bf can go pick it up and she said “park it in the street” I only wanted it for one day, when I went to return it, they told me they were going to charge me $80 for gas just bc it was missing 1/4 of a 1/4. I went to the gas station and I literally put $5 and it was where it was supposed to be. I come back and the guy took forever to help me because he was helping someone else, another lady came in and told me that she can help me close out the contract and the guy has the audacity to tell her “no I’m almost done with them finish cleaning up the other truck and I’ll help her” I waited about 15 more min for him to help me out, when he helped me out it took him one minute to tell me the total and for me to leave.

I’ve never had a worse experience with anything, ever. 1) The app experience was a nightmare! Express Check in after hours took 30 MINUTES. I tried to upload photos showing damage to the truck to dispute their photos (and incorrect gas reporting) and wasn’t able so I tried emailing. Who knows if that went through. 2) I had to schedule the pickup over the phone, online wasn’t working or giving me the option for after hours pickup. The person who I spoke with took down the wrong email so I couldn’t create an account. After sitting on hold for 20 mins (because apparently the store stops answering the phone at 5 till close) I decided to try chat which wasn’t easy to find. When creating the chat I saw they took down the wrong email which was still available through google so I got it and resent the verification codes and was able to log in. 3) returning was just as difficult. they tried to charge me a $15 cleaning fee on the app because I said it should be cleaned (on the outside) so that’s ridiculous. Posting photos took multiple attempts. Overall HORRIBLE experience. I will never use Uhaul again.

Spring Valley UHaul was great, couldn’t ask for any better service. They were very nice, helpful and pleasant to work with. Overall Service was outstanding! Would go there again if necessary. EastLake U Haul at the Self Storage on Bozwell has questionable customer service. When inquiring about my reservation concern I was told by the guy on the telephone, he was busy and needed to help other customers. Felt as a customer, he did not care about me and wasn’t willing to help in any way, even though it was a UHaul associate who screwed up my reservation. Also at Eastlake UHaul at the Self Storage on Bozwell, I witnessed a gentlemen who appeared to be late in returned his 20-25 foot rental truck, standing outside the entrance gate, denied access onto the property and unable to return the truck. He admitted and the UHaul Associate confirmed he was minutes late and the gentleman then inquired about the possibility of leaving/parking the large moving truck on the Eastlake UHaul property but was denied and forced to return home with the rental truck.

Make the verification process more efficient. I opted for the mobil check out and got stuck at the verification step, tried the chat option to see what was taking so long and nobody replied to my inquiry via chat. I ended up having to finish the process inside the office however, Brianne was wonderful! Super courteous and helpful, she made my experience pleasant.
