I dropped off the truck promptly at 8AM in Springerville AZ. The lady was nice, inspected the truck but said the manager wasn't in yet and he would have to process the truck. She assured us that he would take care of it when he came in. So we left assuming everything would be processed. At around 5 PM I received a call from Jorge from the Tucson store asking if I had turned in the truck. I said I had. After Speaking with Jorge I called and asked for the manager at Avery's Chuck Wagon in Springerville AZ. I was told the mgr., Lance was too busy to come to the phone. When I relayed the problem to the employee he indicated that Lance would call back. After about 15 minutes I received a call indicating that Lance had entered the truck as being returned on time. At that point I called Jorge in Tucson back and told him what had occurred, he said he would make the appropriate notations into the computer. The next day I received the overcharge billing for the extra day. I called Jorge back at the Tucson store and he said to call the 800 number, when I tried to call the 800 help line I was placed on hold and no ever spoke with me to assist me with this matter. I don't think it is fair that I was charged the extra day when I followed all of Uhaul's instructions and was told everything was taken care of. I am a retired and would like someone to call me to help resolve the overcharge. Thank you....

There was a mix up about the number of pads ordered, but the agent went out of his way to get the other 3 dozen to us. He had to drive about 200 miles to get the blankets and to deliver them to us.

Did not offer any help or instruction to load the vehicle on to the car dolly. I needed an adaptor to hook up the wire harness. They had no supplies in their store at all. Had to drive to a Napa to purchase the adaptor. I’ve rented from Uhaul many times over many years and this was by far one of my worst experiences.

It would be nice if other u-haul pick up locations were as friendly as Avery's. The truck I ordered to pick up at Avery's was not available, but was available at another place nearby. They would not allow Avery's to have the truck, even though it was not reserved and have often used Avery's inventory. The other dealer does not play fair which creates a bad feeling for u-haul and for this particular dealer. Avery's gave me a larger truck for my move. A customer should be able to pick the location and dealer they want to use and have the equipment available.
