Pick up was easy but when I hooked up the trailer the right brake light and turn light didn't work so after I notified the rep I was sent to Stevenson drive location and was told they would fix it or give me a new one to use. I waited for about an hour and a half and they told me to sit in the car and messed with the back and told me that I was fine to drive the broken one and there was nothing they could do for me. So we left and called the DM and told him and he agreed to meet us Saturday morning to try and fix it. While we were driving home just a few miles down from the Stevenson location the uhaul popped off the hitch and rammed into the back of my new Jeep Wrangler. So the bad review is more for the Stevenson location that the Springfield furniture direct.JESSE H.

Would give negative stars if I could. Worst experience ever. We rented thru the website and selected Bruns Lane as our pickup location (very close to our house). A few days prior we were told the truck that was assigned to us needed picked up on the other side of town at a furniture store as it was just coming in from NC. We questioned why we had to go there to get it when the yard at Bruns Lane had several in the size that we needed. We were told they couldn't do anything about it and that is the one we had to use. We asked if the truck would be inspected and cleaned after it's trip in from NC since we were taking it to FL. They said it didn't need inspected. We went round and round and finally ended up picking it up at the furniture store (but we still had to get the trailer at Bruns Lane). They were not happy with us and said we were being difficult because we insisted on the inspection (we wanted to ensure our safety on the 1100 mile drive) while towing a car! They relented so we then had to drive it to the other store (where we wanted to pick it up from on the first place) to have the inspection. It was NEVER cleaned (really??? especially with COVID)! The wipes that we used to clean the steering wheel and cup holders etc., were black they were so grimy and evidently hadn't been cleaned in some time. Disgusting! Just awful.Julie C.

I would probably not do on-line check out again. Did not go smooth and the online CHAT never replied back to help. The APPROVAL step kept spinning. I was left at an unopened furniture store. Luckily the store had to drop by to check on another furniture order after I was there for 15-20 minutes.Roger B.

The rental agent installed the Auto Transport trailer onto my RV's trailer hitch. At that time I noted that 1 bolt was missing on the coupler, but he made no comment about it, so I did not worry about it either. The only repairs he made were to replace some rubber keepers on the safety chains. About 20 minutes later, while loading my car onto the trailer at another location, I found that he had not tightened the hitch to the ball, causing the trailer to come off of the ball while loading. During my trip the 24" 4 pin light pigtail became trapped in part of the coupler and shorted the system, including the fuses on my RV. I cut, spliced and taped the wires for the trailer pigtail, and replaced my RV's fuses so I could have tail, brake and turn lights, and continued my trip. The next morning, while unloading the trailer, I noticed that the remaining bolt (the only bolt) holding the coupler to the trailer tongue was broken and partially dislodged. I am lucky to make it 200 miles without losing the trailer...and my towed car! This auto transport trailer should have been inspected by the rental agent and taken out of service long before I arrived to rent it. The rental agent should have been qualified to install the equipment he rents!Jeffrey D.

1) This location is difficult to see and exit. 2) I reserved a trailer at another location much more convenient to me a month early, yet I had to drive to this location to get it. That's not the fault of this location, but of U-Haul policy.barry W.

I did the quick check-in online. Took 30 minutes from the time I walked in the door til we left with the keys. Mileage and charges were incorrect that were given to this location verses what I had received via the internet. Location did not have the supplies I previously ordered.
