The interior of the van was dusty and gross. I expected it and wiped it down. Would have been much appreciated had it been basically vacuumed and surfaces wiped down. Would tal 10 minutes.

Overall, a great experience, but the rentals are very expensive. We've rented many times, but UHaul should offer some kind of a substantial discount especially to repeat renters.

I wasn't supposed to pick up the uhaul at this location (I selected specifically the Uhaul at 914 Boston Rd, Springfield, MA 01119), so when uhaul estimated my miles it was much further than I had anticipated. This is after I called the location and made sure that my reservations were correct and they told me there were for the 914 Boston Rd location. Seriously UHaul?

We didn't realize there was an extra "rental charge" separate of the daily "rental rate". We also don't feel the mileage was explained to us very well.

When I went to turn in the vehicle they asked where was a dolly and furniture cart that I didn't order. I even had to show him my copy of the order to prove that I didn't rent those items. In general this was a fairly distressing experience.

Everything was good except I was not informed that when returning the vehicle you have to do all these things on your website to insure the vehicle was returned in good condition and it took me about 45min to complete it all. It would have been easier if you had free wifi to connect to for a smoother and faster process. And it’s not fair for those who do not own a cell phone.

easy 26' check out, newer truck. No 4 wheels furniture dollies at the location and it cost me extra $30 to buy it elsewhere instead of $10 renting it with the truck - only my complain

I was sent to the Union Ave location. The trailer was not at this location. I was told its at the Birnie Ave location. "It's not up to us, Transportation assigns these" says the guy at Union Ave. Some notification would have been nice so that I could have picked it up in the correct place. Even better, get the trailer to the location I was told it would be packed up at. There was two days notice.

Had a great experience with Dat when picking up the truck portion of our rental. Dat was friendly, knowledgeable and efficient. The next morning, we had to pick up a vehicle tow trailer. Could have used some guidance loading car on to the tow trailer, but the employee on this day advised they usually do not assist. Thought that was odd since many folks may not have done it before and, therefore, would appreciate some guidance. Would help to preserve integrity of equipment as well imo. We had to climb out of the loaded vehicle window and then when we went in for help on how to roll up the window as the door could not be opened more than a few inches, he did come out to advise us how to fold down the trailer wheel cover and then did help put one tire strap on. That information prior to the load would have been very helpful, reduced stress and resulted in a better rating for the location.

The Van that I had the tires had smooth back and we were buried in the courtyard of the house that we wanted to visit I had to call a particular crane to get us out of the hole and it was an excessive expense with this comment I let you know that they have to change the tires of the vehicles constantly for the safety of the custome customer.

Easy access to 91 which makes it easy to get to where you need to go. The attendant was nice but didnt go out of his way to show me the vehicle so I had to go find it in the lot. Given that I would still recommend uhaul and this location.

I reserved my truck and $10 equipment dolly online a couple days prior to ensure a smooth transaction, unfortunately I got just the opposite. I reserved the truck for 10am Sunday morning, around 9:20am the representative from the Uhaul location I reserved the truck at called and said that the the 26' truck I RESERVED wasn't available. He offered me the 20' truck and I was panicked knowing that I would not be able to fit everything for my move in it but had no other choice other than to agree to that truck. A little after 10am I went to pick up the 20' truck and as I pulled in the lot the 26' truck was sitting parked right in the center. I went in and asked why he called to tell me he didn't have a 26' available when it's sitting right outside and he told me "it got returned right after I called you". So it isn't important for you as a CUSTOMER SERVICE REP. to call me back so I could be more at ease that I had the original truck I planned to have?? I had set up the mobile pick up but of course because the truck was supposedly not available I still had to go in. I completed EVERYTHING required to rent the truck online but he made me do it all again. As I was sitting doing it all again I asked him about the equipment dolly I had reserved and what the difference between that one and the smaller one were and ensured that one would work better for my move as I had ALOT of ng heavy furniture to move and with the washer and dryer the fact it had a strap would make things so much easy. I left with the 26' truck I originally reserved and he told me when I drop off the key just park it in the same spot I got it and there is a mail slot right on the outside of the building I can drop the keys in. Half way through my move once we were about to start with the heavy things I went to the truck to get the equipment dolly to realize it WAS NEVER PUT IN THE TRUCK frantic I called and he told me he forgot to put it in the truck and said i could use the little one that was in there already as if it was no big deal. I asked if he could have someone from the store deliver it to me and he told me no I told him this was NOT MY FAULT that HE forgot to put it in and he told me there was boring he could do unless I went back and picked it up myself. REALLY?? So the move went TERRIBLE because we didn't have what we needed! I brought back the truck that night and was there for over 10 minutes trying to find the "mail slot right on the outside of the building", I walked back and forth a million times and could not find it until my boyfriend found it and it was NOT on the building, it was on a shed way on the other side of the parking lot. My experience was HORRIBLE and I would NEVER use that location again.

We had an issue with our truck. The windshield wiper fluid didn't spray. We had to pull over more than thirty times to splash water on the window just to see. This added nearly an hour to our already exhausting trip. We were brushed off and told to contact the DM in Florida.
