I booked an online location for pick up in Bayonne. Something was wrong in the system because there is no pick up location in the area and I was hoping to get my truck at 6:00 and conveniently in the area where I live, but i ended up paying for n uber servive to pick up the truck in staten island and return to staten island, it was stressful. Customer representative Brie was able to help me set up the change, in pick up location. But I wish I didnt have to go through all of the stress and tiredness of returning the van in staten island location.Marie M.
Employees did not know how to do check in-100% on the customer to figure it out. Called for help, first U Haul representative told me I needed to download an app and put me on the phone with another rep who told me I could just go onto the U Haul website. I was charged for furniture pads, I did not rent any. I was charged for a utility dolly, I pad the $5 in cash because my contract had already been printed out. That's a $10 overcharge. Also I shouldn't be responsible for the check in fee, I couldn't connect to the link from the locationJacqueline L.

My experience with UHAUL was not with the location itself, but with UHAUL as a company. I placed a reservation/order online, and by sheer definition of the word, a reservation indicates the product is being held for me to pick up at the specific location I booked at. The day before I received 3 different updates that the location had changed because where I had booked no longer had the trailer I reserved. I had no idea where I'd be going or if I'd even have a trailer the day of my major move, which was extremely stressful! If there is a better option other than UHAUL next time I will be looking elsewhere for my move.Brooke S.
Well when I first arrived at this uhual location they told my my rental was at a different lot and would need to go there to pick it up. I asked how far and they said not far at all. So me and en employee began walking about 15 minutes in the cold. We then reach the lot and he simply points to the truck then turns around leaves. The lot the rental was in was blocked off by another car and I had to call back twice to get help. I ended up waiting 45 minutes for them to figure this out and finally was able to actually drive my truck off the lotLuis N.

I booked a 15 footer and then I received a call telling me they didn't have that size truck I ended with a 10 footer. I was moving out of state so I had to fit what I could. I ended up throwing my bed away because it didn't fit. You guys need to track the trucks better and not book people for one thing and then give them another. Very upset about this.KATHERINE P.

When I returned the vechile to payless auto repair they checked the equipment and provided me with a total and confirmed that was all that will be charged. The next day they charged an additional $30.25 on my debit card. This is ridiculous and unprofessional to charge more after the confirmed amount and final receipt was given. I have called the location and there has been no explanation. I will be calling my bank .Angelika R.

I scheduled an 8AM pick-up, I arrived at 7:55AM and the auto repair place did not open until 8:15AM, I was not able to leave with the truck until close to 9AM, still had to get the trick back at 1:00PM, as I initially promised yet my hour that was lost interrupted everything and gave me the worst possible experience moving today. The moving helpers were waiting, my building supervisorcpuld notice me the express elevator a d it was an overall very unfortunate experience. For more information I will be glad to speak with a representative. I must say the equipment (truck) was reliable as always.Kendall S.
