Be polite. Say thank you. Have interior of truck cleaned. Had spilled remains in cup holders. No pre-prep before rental pick up day. I’ll not go to a U-Haul again anywhere as most u-hauls now are operating out of pre-existing business which is their main concern in my experience. I’ll go back to Home Depot where their customer motivated & polite.

Sight was excellent however I would never go through your app. Completed twice and still had many many issues picking up. Had to re do it again, call customer service three times and finally after one hour and 45 minutes it was verified. What was the point of doing it online. Never again very disappointed.

22 total miles used, required 10 gallons to get tank back to starting position. Seems unlikely that the vehicle fuel efficiency was only 2 MPG. Faulty gauge?? Perhaps

The truck smelled bad the people have attitude like no other I don’t understand how they do they stay open guess cuz it’s the only place on the south shore we live in the burbs so since there is no other place to go the stay open for people

When i picked up the truck the clerk asked me if i wanted the insurance for $16 and i declined. Then when i returned it and looked at my reciept they had charged me for it anyway and told me they would refund my money tommorow (Yea OK), and then proceeded to argue with me that the truck wasnt filled up back to half a tank when it clearly was. The truck was dirty and not even broom cleaned. Would not recommend this Uhaul location

The vehicle was dirty. Which wasn’t a big deal. But the truck had a driver side tire that needs replacing. It was deflated I had to pull off the highway to fill. It deflated again and I had to pull off my route to fill it. This increased my mileage and gas consumption

The first van I rented had to be returned. There was a problem with the steering. The steering wheel was shaking very hard at speed of 40 miles an hour or more.

When picking up the trunk, the paperwork given to us said the gas tank had 5/8 of a tank of gas when in reality it had 1/2 a tank of gas. The u-haul employee said not to worry and that when we return the truck, just fill up the tank to 1/2 a tank of gas. When we returned the truck with a half a tank of gas, the employee said we shorted the tank and would be responsible for the missing gas. We explained the situation from when we picked up the truck and the employee immediately became defensive and rude- "okay, yea it's my fault not yours. Next time I'll look at the truck instead of relying on the customers". It was completely unprofessional and unnecessary. There was also no straps to hold anything against the wall in the truck -- not sure if there were supposed to be but they were missing if they were supposed to be there.

We had to wait to get the reserved van because the person handling our reservation was making sandwiches for a customer, then someone was purchasing a whole slew of lottery tickets, then worker was on his cell phone on a personal call. We were already delayed over 15 minutes. When we went to the van, it was so difficult to see out the back window because there was a huge black divider that blocked the view. This was our 1st U-Haul rental and we did not feel safe, so we decided to cancel and get a refund. They would not refund my payment until the store owner arrived, yet they did not need the owner to charge my credit card when renting the van. I had to wait 20 minutes and then got an argument about my inconveniencing them getting a refund and holding up the line. Sadly, there is not a separate rental office.....you have to wait for food orders, gas payments, lottery ticket purchases, and personal calls to be handled first before someone will look at you. Very disappointing. Rude stafff. Will never use again for anything!!!

UHaul had changed my pickup location the day prior my reservation and I was not sure where this location was. When I pulled up, the location seemed to be in area that I would prefer not to go, but the Uhaul guy was professional, quick and had us on our way with all the information we needed.

Owner was fantastic and was able to help me out In a pinch. I reserved a van online at a different location and when I went to pick up the van, I find out that the location is. It even open on Saturdays! Why would they let me do this online is still a mystery to me , but my second location on Arthur Kill Road was FANTASTIC! Will be using them again and recommending to everyone!
