There was an oil/brake fluid leak that stained my driveway. I told the person at check in and he did not seem to believe me. I showed him where the oil came from and explained that the vehicle was backed up on an incline when it happened. But, because he could not see the oil leaking he did not believe me.

Our reservation was confirmed in Reston but I was sent a text indicationg that I needed to go to another location. This location cased increased milage. I feel I should have been given a break on the milage. None was given.

I am a professional household mover for a large moving company, I was moving a customer 11 miles from the location of the Uhaul in Sterling VA. I needed to shuttle my customers furniture into downtown and can not use my 70 foot unit to deliver downtown. I reserved a truck from Uhaul a couple days in advance, however when I arrived to that uhaul location , I was treated poorly by the uhaul rep and did not receive the size of truck unit that I reserved. Instead they offered a much smaller truck. I cancelled my order. I have been a loyal customer of uhaul for many of years and now I am considering taking my business else where because of the poor/rude unprofressional treatment. Very dissatisfifed customer. Their customer service is excellent. My only problem is throwing people's stuff when someone forget them in the van or truck. For example I rented a truck # 2524 on 17th march and I forgot my pair of sessors and rappers in the front seat, .came back sunday morning my stuff have been put in the trash. At least give me a day. Thanks.

Be more prepared. I waited over 20 minutes at the register for a truck that I had reserved and the attendants were struggling to find the information and get it all together correctly. That felt unfair to me because that was burning into my rent time that I was paying for the truck and yet I wasn't refunded for that time that they spent scrambling. Three attendants had to get involved with one reserved transaction. Won't be visiting this location again for sure.

The team at this location was AMAZING and incredibly helpful, as this was my first UHaul experience. I was a little annoyed before I got there because when I booked the UHaul online I selected a location that was close to me, and was not notified until after I had made the reservation that this location did not have all the equipment that I had reserved. I was told to go to the Sterling location where, again, the team rocked!

The pick up was a little difficult the person that was helping really didn’t seem like she wanted to help us she was also very rude to one of her co workers who was helping as at first he needed help and she refused to help me and gave him a nasty aduttied but he was helpful.

The service was great overall, there was a problem with equipment reporting or recording the correct amount of miles drive. I only dove about 7 miles and there equipment said I drove a 107 miles. They were able to correct the problem. I left happy.

The vehicle I rented (10: Truck (no ramp) was ready to put out to pasture. It had so much damage I couldn't tell what was "Stickered"and what wasn't. The drivers seat cushion was so broken you felt as though you could fall out the drivers door if you left it open. The steering wheel was so caked with crud I wore gloves for protection! It was the worst vehicle I've rented from this location and I've rented many. Sell this dog for scrap right away

Your system made me provide phone numbers for friends and collegues, at the time of pickup, to verify me before you would rent me the truck. You did not make it clear this would be a requirement ahead of time. At 7am nobody answered calls from an unknown number. It took me an hour and a half before finally getting someone to answer. This is a terrible system.



Have an accurate list of available stock at each location. When I checked online it listed what I wanted, but once I got to the location they didn't have what I wanted and ended up going with a smaller truck.

The auto transporter was not perfect for a low clearance car. The front had metal plates that stuck up far enough to scratch the underbody of my Corvette. Please know that it would be better if the trailer had low clearance cars in mind. Thanks!
