The manager Leida Alvera or she claims to be, is the worst u-Hal representative I ever encountered throughout all my experiences with u-Hal. If nothing get done about her and getting my deposit back, I will make sure me and my peoples use an alternative. I hate to see this happening because of this one bad u-Hal representative Leida Alvera. She even go as far as calling the police and refused to give me her superior number.

The folks and equipment at the store were great. The person i spoke with at your call center was another story. i had requested to pick up the truck at a location closer to my home since you charge by the mile. but when i called the confirmation number it was a different site. They transferred me to your call center to see if i could pick up the truck closer to home i was told just because i wanted a site closer to me didn't mean i would get one - and that was that. since i had no other options and your competitors did not have any trucks available i went with yours - reluctantly

We had set up the pick up for 9am at the Tam O shatner location. I had spoken to them and we were set to go. I only reserved this for my daughter, but she showed up and signed everything, then gave them cash for the balance. However, we were switched last moment to the Wilson location. They were unwilling to work with my daughter at all.

My agreement was to pick a truck in Manteca. I received a text 1 day prior saying that I needed to go to Stockton, 20 miles away. When I got there, they did not have the truck I agreed to rent, and were trying to get me to go to another location. I was harassed by a drug addict in the lobby of the business and staff did nothing to ask the person to leave. After some insistence on my part that I wasn't going to yet another location, They did give me a truck although larger than what I needed, which made packing it more difficult. All in all this experience was very poor.

Picked up a faulty truck. Check engine light on, when I called to make a note that the light on when I picked up and could never make contact with the "correct" person. When it came time to return the truck and put gas in the vehicle the truck would not take fuel and the fuel went from the fuel hose straight to the ground. Therefore not being able to return the truck to the Dublin location. Luckily I was in a close enough distance to a near by Uhual and was not stranded.

Dont have any business whit gas station uhaul rentals they dont give good Services and is you company name in there hands i tough it was a uhaul worker who never answer my fone calls and never is never he dont even call to apologise

The pickup location was great. The fuel was listed at just under 1/2 tank and paperwork said right at 1/2, but it was a seamless pickup.

They closed early on Saturday, which was disappointing. However, a young man did come out of the back of the shop and help us check in our trailer. We arrived at 6:56pm and the store closes at 7pm.

I will never use U-Haul again and I will share through social media this experience. I rented a 5x9 trailer one way to Galt CA. I was to pick up this trailer at 19th ave and Bell rd (close to my house) in Phoenix, AZ. The morning I was supposed to get the trailer I was called and told the only trailer that they had for me was in Chandler, AZ. I had to drive 70 miles round trip to get this trailer. 2.5 hours and 70 miles later I had my equipment. I was promised a discount? Instead I was given 2 extra days that did me no good. What would U-Haul have charged me for 70 miles, 5 or 6 gallons of gas and 2.5 hours of service time? You wasted my time and did not lift a finger to help me deal with your problem.

Not only was the customer service at this location awful but the neighborhood was unsafe. We parked the trailer neatly in a row and it took them three days to call us back despite the fact that U-Haul customer service and U-Haul down the street left nine messages. U-Haul itself has the worst customer service I have ever experienced . Not only did they not understand the terms of their contract and claim that because our truck broke down on account of their faulty wiring in the trailer but they told us that our contract was over, scheduling (where the manager actually HUNG UP ON ME) claimed our contract expired even though there was no end date. And that it clearly stated it was $20 a day additional. There was no expiration date and scheduling had somehow claimed it was expired even though there wasn't an expiration date. This location has the worst customer service, which after dealing with an ABSOLUTLY helpless customer service center and WORSE scheduling department uhaul CLEARLY could care less about.

When I arrive to pick up our u-Haul reservation the young man by the name of Steve give me a clipboard so I can write down any damage while he sit down inside on his computer. He never walk around the truck with me to be aware of any current damage before I took off with it. I was schedule to return the U Haul track at 4pm which I was fully aware of that. I called to let Steve know that my boyfriend who was driving the truck back to this location was stuck in heavy traffic due to a parade streets where block. He had no control over that. Steve told me it was ok he was going to call the other party about picking up the truck at a later time. When my BF finally made it back they want to charge my credit card for a two day rental. I called Steve and with his unprofessional approach over the phone I ask to speak to his Manager of that location she was rude unprofessional no customer services skills!!!! She was horrible Getto someone needs to retrain her. I will never visit or refer anyone to that location.

The customer service rep that I contacted after my original truck and pick up location did not have the truck I reserved online claimed to have left a message with the Wilson Way Stockton ca location for a possible discount for the inconvienence. I did not question this and when I arrived to Wilson Way I mentioned this to the associate. The associate then attempted to reach the manager by phone a couple of times. The mangers daughter eventually answered. The associate explained what was going on to the manger (Alveraz), I could over hear the manger saying "that's online, I don't have anything to do with that!" eventually the cell phone was handed to me. The manger asked for me to explain what happened again. I proceeded to do so. At the conclusion of my explanation the manager asked me "what did he say I would do for you?" I repeated "the rep claimed to have left a message with you to compensate of possible." She stated she could offer $10 off the rental fee. I replied "that would be fine." The manger then asked me again "what are you expecting me to do?" I then became frustrated. My reply was that I expected the manager to offer a solution. I also stated she was making me feel like I was wrong to bring this up...and she continue to ask me what I expected from her after she offered $10 off the truck. She made a bad situation worse. I expected to be moving by 10am that morning. When I arrived for the 2:15p truck I was calm and patient about the matter. After speaking to the manger I was very upset and vowed to NEVER do business with U- Haul again!
