Stop with the "nickel and dime". I booked at Smitty's which is much closer location to my move, at least 30KM. I understood when I booked AND was told during my confirmation phone call that my preferred location was not guaranteed. That is fine, but why offer it. I am sure it makes uHaul look like they have many more convenient locations but in reality they can't offer the service that I am paying for and it is misleading. I was told to discuss the matter when I picked up the truck, I got the same canned answer at that time. It is the difference of maybe $20 but it is the principle of the thing. If you want total satisfaction then pick up the mileage difference as part of your policy. If you can't provide it then don't offer it!

The uhaul mobile app/booking experience was unhelpful and failed to work when we arrived at the location to pick up our truck. Luckily Vito, a staff member was still in the store and was closing up and made the time to help us out. He was very kind and helpful.

We were supposed to pick up the truck in Jerseyville. It was not there. Had to drive to Stoney Creek to pick up the truck. Lost a lot of time with a crew of helpers waiting in Jerseyville and it cost us gas to drive from Jerseyville to Stoney Creek and back. Our first experience with uhaul was not pleasant and we will not be a repeat customer.

Truck wasn't there when I arrived at my pickup time, had to return at a later time to pick it up, also I was overcharged for the use of the truck. Still waiting for have a confirmation that the overcharge has been corrected

I had to go to 3 different u haul locations to get a truck that I reserved because the first location decided to close the shop for a bit costing me gas in my car gas in the u haul truck and a lot of extra Kms this was very poor to me and I got no compensation

The truck was clean but, there was no gas in it and there was a wire off one of the spark plugs, it was running on 7 cylinders. I thank god my husband is a mecanic, I would not want to drive any of these trucks any where. I'd be stuck out on the hwy. Some where very upset and not having a good experience with my move. The addendant was very nice and polite he appologized to my husband and signed a paper to give to the guy at the other end , but they were closed,

I rented a van twice now for small moves. Each time it was $100+. Stop painting "Only $19.99" on your vehicles ... it's misleading. Otherwise, vehicles were in good shape, clean and virtually brand new.

The entire vehicle had an smell that was of animals having been in the back of the van. The very polite sales person explained this was the rubber mat in the back. I have rented from Enterprise using their cargo van and never experienced this problem. This would deter me from renting a cargo van again from U-Haul.

Was suppose to pick up in Burlington at mainway or guelp line, but they didn't have it there so had to go to stoneycreek and pay a friend to take us there, got there the truck was half hr late, was also told would only need a 15 foot truck for a two bedroom and it was two small had to do an extra 3 hr drive which we then had to pay 70$ in mileage, will need deal with u haul again

We called regarding water damage to our Mattresses (among others) Based on the conversation it was obvious that they knew of the problem. Now we are sleeping on the floor until we can attain replacemnts (usually mattresses are ordered) not bought on spot & Stores were closed Yesterday due to Holiday.

Truck would not start after we had it loaded.. told the staff on the phone that there was a gas leak that 26 km should not use almost 30 l in fuel..could do not close contract over the phone...waited almost 40 min to be told I had to call back in the morning..
