If you guys hold money on a card you should be able the pay the difference in cash if it goes over the card amount that was held.

There needs to be a better way of determining how much gas one has used in vehicle displayed on dash digitally or via a sticker. The current method of looking it up via the contract isn't convenient nor is it fair. I ended up filling the tank more than needed due to this omission.. Also consider giving customers credit for gas when overfilled just as one is charged for mot bringing vehicle back with proper level of gas.

make sure there is windshield wiper fluid app to return vehicle didn't work so we had to wait at least 1/2 hour and called customer assistance 3 times to complete return process.

I called in for a truck and auto transport and made reservations, to make sure it’s there so I don’t drive in vain, but when I get there they told me they only have the truck available, then I drove back to Abington and the manager called me back to go back because it’s available, lots of stress for renting a truck and auto transport,.

I reserved a truck in July for 24hrs, during Labor Day weekend. I reserved online with a cc and called location to confirm with a human. On August 20th I was called and informed I could only have truck for 6 hrs. I explained that I would be flying in from Los Angeles on that day needed truck overnight moving out on last day and in on 1st. They would not accommodate. I even offered to pay more etc. This being college student moving day there was no truck to be had in the state. This is unacceptable for a national brand chain. I dropped the truck off on time at 7:45pm and doubt very much that truck was rented out again before the next morning. This last minute change by Uhaul resulted numerous unplanned and unnecessary additional expense to me including Uber $100 in Uber fares, $100 for storage, $100 to rent a different truck (found a pickup truck ...multiple trips between storage place and apartment) I plan to write a Yelp review detailing my experience and also posting to local university parent and student online boards making sure people know not to trust or use this Stoughton UHaul location. The opposite of customer centric. I plan to disputed the charge as well with my cc company.

Pick Up - used mobile pick up. When I got home I realized that the dolly and furniture pads I requested were not put in the truck, but we’re authorized on my order. Drop Off - overall terrible. I pulled in at closing knowing I was using mobile drop off. I’ve used it before. And employee ushered me to pull behind another truck being checked in. I stepped outside the truck and waited. The employee finished with the customer in front of me then told me (after I’d been waiting) to use mobile to drop off. After just couple minutes I was halfway through drop off when the same employee came around the truck, telling a different employee “I don’t understand why people can’t use the mobile”. I was doing fine, but felt pretty stupid after this comment. As they helped me, they made comments about it being closing time, and this wasn’t normal for them to need to help me and wouldn’t happen next time. They then mentioned that I hadn’t filled the tank. I said I knew, and understood the cost associated with it. They rolled their eyes and muttered “well it’s going to be expensive”. Again - not my first time, my choice and my decision. I’ve never had a company tell me “no we don’t want you to spend more money here”. They made several more comments about the gas. They did refund the dolly and furniture, but overall I felt like I was being treated like I was stupid. While I don’t plan to move again I’m the near future, I certainly will not be using uhaul services after this experience.

The wait time wasn’t great, even though I checked in online. The folks working there were great, I think it’s more an issue with the systems not working properly. They needed to be rebooted a couple of times and the card reader wasn’t working properly.



It was a busy moving weekend and the whole process of pick up and return went very smoothly. The store itself was clean and the salespeople clearly knew what they were doing. I’d definitely use this location again.
