This truck had mechanical issues when picked it up. But since we just needed it for a short time, we hoped it would be OK. However, when we were on our way to get gas and return the vehicle, it stopped running, and we were broke down on the side of the road for just under two hours until a tow service came. We never received a call from the U-Haul center apologizing for the mechanical failure of the truck, and they charge is just under six dollars per gallon to put fuel back in the truck when we could’ve purchased it ourselves for $3.50 per gallon. To me this is a fee they should’ve waived since we were stuck on the side of the road for two hours. I would never recommend using this location for U-Haul rentals. Th is U-Haul location still charged
Guy PFor multiple reasons, I specifically ask for barn doors on my 6 x 12 enclosed, they said they would have it when I got there. It was a rollup door, which caused me nothing but grief for two days..
TERRY WThe truck was dirty less than a half a tank of gas It ran absolutely horrible. I went over 45 and that things are shaken horrible I rented from choice furniture before didn’t have a problem clean truck reliable felt safe. this time. I had to go a little bit further and I didn’t feel safe in this truck. Plus, I had to figure out the exact mileage, which I went over from my original quote, which wasn’t much and I understand you need to have an estimate I also understand I moved it myself, so I’m not complaining at the cost of a U-Haul rental. It’s cheaper than Enterprise. But a safer more reliable vehicle would’ve been nice
