I cannot describe the young man who now is the service representative (if you wish to call him that) as lazy, unprofessional and goofy. I believe he is family of the owners who probably have nothing else this fellow can do effectively. This is my 3rd rental there since the change in u-haul personnel at this point which is the only one nearby. Overall, I have rented there probably 10-15 times in 3 years. Always a good experience until lately and from what I’ve been told, under the same management/ownership. Here’s what lacks with this individual I describe: asks personal information required during the rental process within CLEAR ear shod of other patrons, acts immature i.e. singing and swaying to himself while looking at his phone instead of you, lays the whole burden of hookup and inspection to the customer and just “inspects” the hitching, completely unfamiliar apparently with the process of insuring the lighting is correct and operational and that tongue weight is correct. On previous occasions (2), I complained to U-Haul corporate that he is not always available, even if you have an appointed time scheduled, leaving no one, or someone with less experience than he to complete the process. This equipment was absolutely filthy and smelled like horse manure. So much so I had to clean it out myself at home with soap and water to get the stains off the floor, so as not to damage my cargo with foul odors. Finally and most importantly, I requested another trailer because the one he wanted me to take was old looking and dated which didn’t leave me with a good feeling. He assured me he would update the change of equipment number and license number and send me a revised invoice. He sent two of the same incorrect invoices which took two calls during the first 24 hours of rental to get corrected by corporate and regional offices. It is probably futile sending this review as I’m confident nothing will be done to correct the concerns at this point, but there’s always hope someone responsible will consider a refund or at least a call regarding this point.

When I reserved this truck via the 1-800-go-uhaul phone number, I requested an appliance dolly. The pick up location was unaware of this and did not have one. Only a "regular" dolly was available. This required me to purchase straps during my travel and made it much harder to move the appliances. Also, since I was given no paperwork at pick up, I could not determine/calculate how much fuel to purchase at the end of the trip in order to return the fuel level to the starting level.

BENJAMIN SI would not recommend no one to use this I rented this truck kept the truck for one day longer than what I was supposed to and when I returned it no one was at the place for me to return it and the guy did not show up until the next day and I received the receipt saying that I kept it two days when I only kept it one day called customer service the day that I returned it and no one was there for me to return it and they're charging me more money because no one was there that's poor customer service and I'm being charged money that is not my fault!!!!
