My car hauler tire was flat. It was aired up for us but it was deflated again the next morning (the morning of our trip departure). Not acceptable. That morning we had to wait 2hrs to get help from roadside assistance and then it had to be cancelled because nobody showed up. They dispatched another roadside helper but the first one eventually showed up Nobody told me that this location would not be able to provide me moving blankets, a dolly, or a utility dolly, even though my order was confirmed via the app. I ordered all of these things and was expecting to receive them the day of pickup. I only found out because I called myself to confirm and that's when I was told. Essentially last minute. That's not acceptable. Our driver side tire ratchet strap for the hauler kept coming loose during our two day travel... We had keep stopping and tightening it? Wild. Not acceptable. The employee/manager at this location didn't know how to get us a closer drop off location to our destination via the computer? That was kinda weird.

How U-Haul Reviews WorkRick was very helpful throughout the entire rental process. He went outside and hooked up the trailer for me and made sure all the lights and connections were working properly before I got on the road. When I returned the trailer, he personally unhooked it for me, and I was on my way home. Overall, it was a great experience from start to finish. I would definitely rent again from this location. Great customer service!

gary lThe score of “2 is not necessarily for Pioneer but for UHaul’s errors. I made my reservation at least 4 weeks in advance. Days before I received many texts asking to change my truck size and location which I declined. The day before picking up the truck I received a phone call from a UHaul representative asking if I would pick up at Pioneer instead for a $60 discount and 30 extra miles. I asked how far from my original reserved place which he couldn’t tell me. I said I would do it. Pioneer was over 60 miles round trip from my house and they didn’t have the dolly for me. I had to drive the UHaul to another location to pick up a dolly which they wanted to charge me again for. The free extra 30 miles was not enough to cover the long distance back to my house and the running around to find a dolly. Somehow when I returned the truck I was charged an additional $44 which I don’t know why. It’s time to look for another moving company for future moves.
