This is for services back in May 2013. I just came across my packet and remembered how great these guys were. They were fast and friendly. I forgot that I used the hand truck, and drove back to pay for it. The guy was impressed with my honesty and let me off the hook. Great service!

I rented a flat bed truck to move a very heavy sectional couch and the tailgate didn't even work. It wouldn't go down even though it was unlocked. I told the associate the problem and he just said "okay we'll make a note of it". He didn't even try to compensate me for the hassle and the fact that I was given a defective rental. I had to ask if I could have a credit for the trouble I had to go through which made me feel very uncomfortable. I ended up getting a whole $14.

Wasn't the best interaction, had to go back and get a credit because the employee checking the vehicle in did not read the fuel gauge correctly, was charged an additional 64.00 for fuel and service fee.Book on line with a posting of 84 cents a mile the oringinal pick up point did not have the correct size truck , called and u haul booking found at this location, seems I signed up for 1.09 a mile , not what was noted on line ,but a lesson learned

Fire everyone at the 96th and south Tacoma way location. They are rude, unprofessional, inefficient and speak to customers very condescending. I will never use that location again and will tell others to stay away from there also.

Very Very poor experience at the Pacific Ave location. When the I originally rented the truck, they asked where I wanted to return it, I told them the same location. When I attempted to return the truck they told me that I had to return the truck to a different location. This made very little sense to me since I was already back at the same store on the due. He then said that I could drop it off but would have to pay a different rate, when I asked what the rate was he told me I was being difficult. So despite being at the same location I rented it from on the due date, there was nothing he could to return the truck.

When I physically arrived to the location at 1745 for a due rtn time of 1800, there was zero U-Haul personnel to inprocess returned trailer as the sign indicated. In addition, there was a back-up of customers inside the building and only two U-Haul personnel working. Due to the lack of efficiency and attempting to resolve a promised $31 credit, the U-Haul local personnel member did not formally in-process the rtn trailer until 1831. Now, I am currently being charged an additional $20.00 for an extra day rental. This is unacceptable period! I look forward to an expeditious response. Whatever happened to customer service? I received an email stating " you have a 5 x 10 guaranteed for Sunday. We arrived and they did not have it. It was replaced by a 6 x 12. I specifically ordered the 5 x 10 because of the smaller size. I don't know how you can say guaranteed when It does not happen.

Mike was rude the whole time. I dont understand why. Very poor customer service. Everytime i asked a question he snap at me. Definitely dont recommend this location.

When we got the truck, the blankets and dolly already had their seals broken. We weren't planning on using them, so we made sure to let the attendant know when we dropped it all off that we shouldn't be charged for it. He was nice about it, but it was a little panic inducing when we drove to my apt, opened the back, and saw that the seals weren't intact.
