Someone is running a scam at this location. I drove the truck 20 miles, but two gallons of gas in as I returned it (this location is a gas station, so I could fill it up less than 200 feet from when I parked it to return it), and I got charged for five more gallons of gas even though the tank had more in it than when I picked the truck up. I’d love for someone to explain how that makes sense for a ten foot truck that was empty for half of those miles. My guess is that someone put those five gallons in their personal vehicle and hoped I wouldn’t notice. Would never rent from this location again and will think twice before using U-Haul in the future.
