HORRRRRIBBLLLLLLEEEEEEE!!!!!! Tannersville- Steele’s Ace Hardware needs to be evaluated! Employee entered incorrect information ( she put “in town” rental instead of “one way” like I asked) I constantly confirmed the details just to be charged over $200 bucks when I dropped the rental off in the city where we confirmed. Spoke to her manager Kirk who was not helpful and told me I was just going to have to pay it. Called over 5 people from U-Haul customer service/ scheduling team and even got a resolution just for them to still charge me!!! I spoke to the employees at the drop off location and they confirmed the error and even told me I was right based on the key tag that was designated for “one way”and not “in town” rentals because they are two different types. STILL CHARGED! This is usually how they randomly stick you with fees that aren’t your fault. Soon I will receive a call from General Manager from drop off location. Double check everythingggggggg! Unfair practices and horrible customer service. 0/10!!!
