I made a reservation in Nov but on moving day got sent to three different location before I received a vehicle. The agents at the last location were pleasant and very helpful. The truck was dirty and only had 3/4 tank of gas,

I picked up my truck after hours because I wanted to start moving early the next morning. The truck was hard to find. The lock was hard to open in order to get the keys. I had to call customer service and was on hold for 20 minutes. The appliance dolly and furniture pads were not in the truck. I had to go back the next morning and pick up the items. I was told I would not be charged for the appliance dolly and furniture pads and I would get a credit for the mileage. I paid for both and did not receive a credit for the mileage. I was charged for the mileage I used to come back and get the items I reserved.
Did not receive all my receipts. Items bought and use of the 15 ft u haul truck. Please send them to my email. Thanks.,

Do more thorough inspection of equipment, tires taillights and such! First contract was on a trailer that wasn't there, second contract was on trailer that had missing taillights and third contract was on a trailer with bald tires! Also your employee acted as if I were an inconvenience! Maybe he was just having a bad day....but your employees at the Chandler and Kyrene facility are much more friendly and accommodating! All in all I will still use your servicesðŸ‘
Mobile check in is pointless and not very contact-free if you still have to go inside to get keys.
Keep hiring quality people like the ones I had.

Bad staff, rude management, dirty equipment and when I brought this up I was the bad guy and even had to do most of the cleaning my self.
Truck was new and clean but I had a severe issue with filling the gas tank. I did this immediately after picking up the tuck to have a full tank for my move. Something was wrong with the downspout into the gas tank and would only allow very small amounts of gas to be dispensed at a time. This made for filling the tank on the trip very time consuming. This should have been discovered before the truck was leased out for rental.
The 5' x 8' trailer we rented did not have a functioning driver side tail light. We noticed that when we stopped at a convenience store. We drove back to U-Haul and got another 5'x8' trailer. The chain attaching this trailer to my vehicle was barely above the road and when we loaded the trailer it dragged on the road. So we had to adjust/tighten that ourselves. So there seems to be a quality control issue with U-Haul.
Have working equipment. I had to wait over an hour for just working equipment and then the other person that works there came over and demanded I open the hood of my truck and hand him the truck manual. I assured him there is nothing wrong with my truck, he needed to get yet another wiring attachment for the lights. On the 4th try, he had me try another trailer and "most" of the lights worked....really?? I have rented from different locations of Uhaul for years and I can tell you that I'll NEVER do it again. Not to mention the rate of the trailer was $1000.00 with a deposit for using my "debit card". I've never rented a truck for this much let alone the trailer, but being on the holidays that Uhaul certainly capitalized on the situation. I will tell everyone I know about this experience so that they are not treated the same way. I'm in the Real Estate business as well.
Hold employees at this location to the same or higher standards of the other locations. The employees here are lazy and rude!
Someone input the odometer wrong so when I returned the equipment, I was charged for 3x the miles I drove. Also, the truck thrust forward when pushing the brake, unless I put it in neutral. When telling this to the attendant, they asked if they should make a note of it.

Location seems understaffed. Long wait in empty office to pick up. Long wait with no other vehicles for return.
Worst fucking service ever. The ENTIRE 24/7 experience is trash and subpar. Do better.
This comment is not about the Elliot location, but an overall complaint. UHaul advertises that we can change drop off locations, however, the process was challenging and could not be done when I needed it. I called one person who told me he couldn't make the change and I would need to call someone else in the morning. He couldn't tell me why. I then did a chat with a rep, who told me the same thing, however, she was kind enough to explain that the place I now wanted to drop at was not in the same region. All locations were in the surrounding Phoenix area. I don't understand why. So, instead of driving 2 miles to my second location, I needed to go back to my first location 20+ miles away and 40 miles in the wrong direction of my home. For advertising that I can change drop off locations, UHaul did not follow through.

I did a 24-7 reservation placed at noon on 12/24. Arriving 6:30am for pick up on 6/24 the vehicle was not parked ehere reservation said. Keys were not in lockbox. The Assistant Manager, Heather, would not even talk to me as she cleaned vehicles and tossing about company equipment and told me I would not be asssisted until 7am the opening time. She saw my reservation in my gand aa I pleaded having had the 6:30am pick up. Only after 7am she assisted me and as I aared my frustration she threatened to terminate my reservation. Uhaul needs to review her as she would be the poster child for horrible customer service and it was obvious the morning and afternoon team had nothing good to say about her.
